Consider using the delta classic collection kitchen air gap in stainless in your home's kitchen sink. This air gap is rust resistant and made of brass to endure tough use. This air gap has a 5/8 in. Dishwasher inlet and a 7/8 in. Outlet.

I spent the extra money for this product because one of the reviews I read mentioned the all metal construction. I guess it was referring to the cover, because it's just like one of the cheap ones made entirely of plastic (except the cover). The threads stripped from hand tightening alone, no tools used except a nut-driver to tighten hose clamps.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Straightforward install, looks nice. If you're going for black/brushed nickel theme, however, keep in mind that this has visible white gaskets/trim beneath the metallic cap. Not a big deal unless you're a real detail person, but something I didn't notice until I installed it.

I only needed the cap, but the two pieces are included. Cap is a nice brushed stainless steel. Feels sturdy and made of quality.

Installed a new stainless Delta faucet and only needed to replace the old cap on the dishwasher vent. It would be nice if Home Depot/Delta sold just the cap without having to buy the entire vent. Otherwise this is a perfectly acceptable product with Delta's usual high quality.

The only way to buy a cap the would match my faucet was the buy this. It came with a plastic hose assembly. Paid for more than I needed.

Cons: should be able to buy just the cap

Nice heavy stainless air gap cover to match stainless faucet.
Excellent quality. Easy to wipe clean and keep it looking like new. A necessary finishing touch for countertops. The plastic ones look so cheap.
