Extremely happy with my choice. I used this product when finishing the crawl space in my house, when redoing my girlfriend's attic, and will use it to complete the work I've done in my own attic!

Great over all product, used it to insulate air ducts in the basement and to make a water heater blanket. Also used it in the summer to make panels to reflect the hot summer sun from a few unshaded windows.

Great product and does what it claims and worth the money.
One word of advise. Use staples equal to or LONGER than 1/2" if stapling to wood. Use regular staples and not the round ones either. The reason is that if you use a shorter staple, it will decrease the space gap underneath in the bubble stuff in the middle thus reducing it's effectiveness.
I could actually feel the difference in heat behind a piece of plywood where I had used shorter staples. Luckily this product is very forgiving and I pulled out the shorter staples and used longer ones.
Just wish this came in a wider format too.
Yes, I recommend this product.

This product is very easy to work with and install. I'm not as happy about the R value I thought I would get, but will purchase it again for another project.

I was in the process of remodeling my home which is 36 years old. I started in the Formal Living Room that has an a shared wall to the garage. Looking arround at The Home Depo I discovered Reflectix, as a thin insulator and radient heat/moisture barier. Essentially I replaced the old R 11 insulation with R13 and put the reflectix over it leaving a 1/2 inch space between the drywall and the Reflectix. Also I purchased 2 1/2 inch aluminum tape and taped every stud, header and electrical outlet to seal it to the Reflectix. Over 2 years time I have done 90% of the first floor of my home this way. Prior to reinsulating I ran my gas furnace at about 74 to 76 degrees for adverage winter comfort. Today for the same comfort level we are down to 67 degrees. The furnace cycles a lot less and not as long when it is on. Also the drafty chill is gone. Another benefit we have found, is that when we have lost power in the winter, the house dosen't chill up as fast and the gas fireplace is able to do a reasonable job of keeping us comfortable for the short period without a furnace. This product installed as I have done is well worth the price
Yes, I recommend this product.

I used this product to insulate bare metal ductwork in my basement, in conjunction with the 48" version (the 16" width fit perfectly in between floor beams.) It went on easily, taped together well, and provided immediately noticeable results (air conditioning felt much colder out of vents being fed by insulated ducts.) My only advice would be to use "real" metal tape (not the metalized cloth type that we all have lying around the house) and to insulate every last bend and gap in the ductwork, which when all added up make a significant contribution.
Yes, I recommend this product.

Used this on a cabin with a metal roof and no insulation. Worked great. Very easy to staple to rafters. Covered with wood 1x4's on ceiling. Building was noticeably cooler after installation.

We used this product for insulating our Radiant Heat pex tubing. The product was extremely easy to install. Just needed a staple gun and tape for the seams. The Reflectix insulation fit nicely between the floor joists.

easy to install with stapler or hammer tacker. depending on how you install, it adds R value of circa 8 to 12. tape the seams on the inside of the wall with foil tape and it is also a moisture barrier. directions are not clear because it has so many uses, but put your fibreglass insulation in the wall and then apply this as a moisture barrier. great stuff!
Yes, I recommend this product.
