Found myself on a job where I needed to cut 7/8" 304 stainless tubing with a 1/16" wall. Thought I was going to have to waste a bunch of time and effort with a hacksaw. Decided to try this tube cutter using only the standard cutting wheel that comes with it. I thought I might ruin the cutting wheel on the stainless, but since it came with a spare I decided to give it a shot. Cleanly cut through with no trouble at all. Did a total of 10 cuts in less time that it would have taken to hacksaw through one.
This cutter may seem a little pricey when buying it, but it is worth every penny. Great quality and super performance.

It worked just fine on the conduit piping, it works even better on copper tubing.

This cutter not only was easy to use (little to no effort) but it was also precise in cutting its mark. I used it to cut to proper length a new metal master bathroom sink drain pipe. It is a good plumbing repair tool for the DIYers.

I have used this tubing cutter a lot over the years and it still cuts straight. I have changed the blade about four times because I use it so much. This is the second tubing cutter because when I tried to change the blade it would not come out. So I went to the homedepot and they gave me a new one right out of the package.

My husband goes through tools like nothing. He absolutely loves this Ridgid tool and it is very sturdy. He works construction so it's important for him to have tools that will keep up with him.

I previously bought a cheaper make that wouldn't cut straight, it threaded the tube instead of cutting it off. This tube cutter works fine. It"s a little high in price, but is very good quality.
