I use these batteries for lighting systems on motorized bicycles. They last about 2 years or better in rough service, which is the case regardless of manufacturer. The Mighty Mule @ Home Depot, however, costs about 33% less than the battery stores for the same sla/agm, 12v 7ah. This is a great value in my opinion.

This battery was priced in the range of many of the cheapest batteries online, but the unit seems of good, with decent reviews, and arrived in sturdy manufacturer's packaging. (And Mighty Mule isn't as obscure as some of those other cheap eBay units either.) The shipping charge was resonable. My only remaining desire would be if this could've been shipped to the nearby Home Depot store for free, where I would pick up - other companies do it, and I wish more would start.

Had two of these in my mighty mule solar gate...in one year one is still working perfect and one started oozing acid...keep your receipt...they do come with a five year warranty but mighty mule does make you show receipt

This is the easiest purchase I have ever made at Home Depot. I found the product I wanted online and placed my order for pick-up. When I got there I went to the service desk, where I was helped immediately, and was out of the store within 3 minutes. The battery was perfect for my gate and it is working great.

This is a "standard" size gel-cell battery used in many applications. I have bought several of them for use in alarm systems and UPS (battery back up supplies) for computers and they have all worked great. They are also less expensive than from battery or electronics stores.

Easy to install for a novice and much cheaper than any local distributer I could find. One store wanted $50 for it and another on-line store had it for $10 more plus $16 for s/h. For the older Mighty Mule gates, this is the same as the RB-150 battery.

This gate battery works great...it opens the gate more times than I thought it would. It recharges by solar panel so it saves money.
