The Cuisinart Compact Toaster is not just smaller than standard 2 slice toasters, it's better! Streamlined and specially designed to sit sideways or facing forward on kitchen counters, the LED touchpad controls and a 9 setting LED backlit browning dial are within easy reach either way. That's a nice position to be in!

I love everything about this toaster!
The bagel setting is awesome, and I love the defrost mode!. It has more heating elements than other toasters, which makes it toast more evenly.
You can't go wrong with this toaster...and the red color goes with my other accessories perfectly.

This toaster is everything we need. I would like to have larger openings for bagels and such, but other than that, I would highly recommend it to anyone. It's compact but not too small. Cool to the touch. Easy to read light-up dial settings. Buy this one, you won't be dissappointed.

Best buy, regardless of color.
Plenty of heating elements, unlike too many other brands on the market (which have few elements that are spaced far apart).
The result...a LOW setting of 2 or 3 equals great toasted breads. The wide slots and multiple heating selections allow for versitility.
A product that does what it's advertised to do at a reasonable cost.

I purchased this toaster for use in our kitchen at work. Counter space is really limited, and the kitchen itself is a pretty dull corner. I was so happy to find this toaster. The size is perfect, the functionality is great (we are an office of bagel-eaters, so the extra-wide slots are lovely), and the perky red color adds a nice punch. Love the almost retro rounded edges. Love the specific toasting option buttons, especially the defrost option (Eggos, anyone?)
The only caveat I see so far is the cord length. It's not necessarily a bad feature, just be aware that if you've got limited outlets in your kitchen, dorm, whatever, your toaster location options may be fewer. In my case, it wasn't a problem.
Overall, this cute little red toaster is just the thing to replace your tired, outdated clunker.
