Very easy to install. Works right out of the box, all you need is an electrical outlet nearby and PVC piping to get the water outside.

I just replaced this sump pump in my house this season. I upgraded to a cast iron pump with a bit more HP, but not b/c this one wore out. In fact, as far as I can tell this pump has been running reliably in my basement for 15 years....give or take a year.
It turned on after the winter thaw about 2-4 times a day with out a problem. Some years more, so years less. I never had to worry about its functioning. It moved the water out of the sump easily and never clogged. In fact, after I took it out of the sump to replace, I noticed just how beat up it was, but it kept going without an issue.
Yes, I recommend this product.

If you buy this pump, you should immediately replace the bolt and cable clamp that hold the float switch to the housing with a nylon clamp and stainless steel bolt. I've had this pump 7 years and the head of the bolt rusted off after 5 years causing the switch to disconnect and not turn the pump on...
Now the oil that cools the motor is leaking out into the sump... time for a new pump.
No, I do not recommend this product.

This thing is quiet, fast and reliable. Can't ask for more than that. Also like the dual thread outlet that lets you put the pipe/hose either inside or outside of the outlet fitting.
Yes, I recommend this product.

I've tried different sump pumps in my basement. This one is 100% reliable in the year I've owned it. It's so quiet, I don't ever hear it come on. Does an excellent job, since we continue to have problems with flooding. I didn't expect that performance for the money!
Yes, I recommend this product.

Good pump, unreliable switch

These sump pumps were easy to assembly with the electrical and plumbing. The pumps pump reliably and are durable. The switches are unreliable due to the switch not turning on every time the float rises to the appropriate level. I had to put different switches on 3 of the pumps I purchased and now work excellently.
Yes, I recommend this product.
