The hardest task was removing old pieces. Used a lot of WD-40. (Almost two hours of effort.) Installation was very quick and simplified instructions were most helpful. (Once started on new assembly, took less than an hour.)

I ordered this for one bathroom and subsequently ordered 2 more for the master bathroom. Quality casting, finish, and excellent design of the speed connect pop up drain. The handle base with plastic insert is not as solid as I would like, but overall quality design and value for the price is excellent.

I had to replace my pedestal sink and the faucet before was an American Standard & I had experienced no issues with it after 11 years. I was going to just use my old faucet but decided it was probably a good idea to replace it with a new one. This was the closest match to my old faucet. When the faucet arrived I was surprised to see how much larger the handles were, at first I wasn't sure I would like it but I really do like the size of them after seeing installed. The motion is very smooth and the aerator works well. Things have definately improved as far as cutting out a few installation techniques to make it easier. The handles do not screw onto the base like the old ones due, makes them easier to clean. The base for the handles is also the locking nut so there is one less part there. The underside locking nut is plastic so hopefully to prevent future corrosion and siezing. It was obvious that things have evolved with smarter installation parts but still, dealing with a pedestal sink is not really fun. I also decided to use my own drain rather then use the one included, just a personal prefferance. I would recommend this faucet to anyone looking to change.

This faucet was very easy to install. The speedy drain connect with cable for the pop up stopper is a great feature and works very well. Quality appears to be excellent. I have only had it for a couple of days but assuming it continues to perform well I will replace at least one more bathroom faucet with the same one.
