The retro styling of the 5 blade 52 In. Vega ceiling fan in brushed nickel features a distinctive wire cage body combined with an integrated etched opal glass light kit using one 100W mini can halogen bulb (included). For applications where a light kit is not essential, a brushed nickel cap replaces the glass. Heavy duty 188 x 20mm reversible motor and wall remote offer three speed fan control and full range light dimmer. Includes 3.5 In. & 6 In. downrods. Limited lifetime warranty.

"I've had this in my bedroom for 2 months now. It really cools down the room, making it comfortable for sleeping in this hot weather. It's silent and stable, and looks great.
The wall switch has one large button for the light. You press and hold the button to brighten or dim the light. Once you get the light to the level you want, you let the button go. A quick tap of the button will turn the light on or off and keep it at the level you set it at originally. Really smart design.
The fan has three speeds. You can also reverse it for moving the heat around in the winter. The blades are curved so they really move the air. And the 52" span helps too. My old fan was only 42" and didn't cool the room enough. I can't say enough good things about this fan! It's nice to find one with clean lines and modern style that isn't $600!"

Beautiful fan, not much light,

"I bought this fan for my bedroom. It's a beautiful fan and looks great once installed. Instead of a remote it comes with a light switch that has a ton of buttons on it. It's much easier to use the remote with it. The remote from the ceiling fan in my daughter's room works on this fan as well. I would recommend that you buy a remote (they are sold seperately and aren't expensive). Also, it doesn't put out a ton of light. Overall though, it's so much nicer than most ceiling fans."
