We ran into a difficulty while remodeling our family room. Like many older homes the basement exterior wall was built styrofoam insulation with firring strips and sheetrock attached to the firring strips. We wanted to mount our TV so that it would be able to be seen by all but not take up precious wall space. We decided to mount it on an interior wall that offered studs for support. It turned out to be the best location in the room and to our surprise/concern, it supports the TV, rotates, and swivels for viewing from all directions. We are totally satisfied and I have to say that if you are worried about the stability and safety of the wall mount... don't! It has served our family well and we definitely recommend installing one.

Easy installation...Very sturdy

I bought this wall mount to hang a 19" TV in my garage. After looking at several of the more expensive ones, I decided on this less expensive model. It was a good choice. I was glad to see that it's sturdy enough to hold a heavier TV than what I've got. It was easy to install. It swivels around but only tilts up/down just a slight bit, which I thought may be an issue from the glare of being in the garage. But that's not a problem. Good product, good price..reason why I shop there..Way to go Home Depot!!

Everything came, as advertised. The instructions were very easy to follow and Home Depot performed flawlessly.
