Register Plus 14 in. x 7-3/8 in. Multi-Watt 240 Volt In-Wall Fan-Forced Heater White

The Cadet Register Plus 14 in. x 7-3/8 in. Multi-Watt Fan-Forced Wall Heater has a clean, low-profile design and quiet operation for comfortable, wall-mounted electric heat. Often chosen for its similar appearance to a central system register vent, the Register features a large squirrel cage blower that quietly provides increased airflow allowing for lower surface and air-at surface temperatures. It features a commercial-grade steel element for durability and is designed for optimal warm-air circulation at any heat setting. Comes packaged with a wall can and white grille. A wall-mount thermostat is required.

I purchased this heater to a replace an electric baseboard heater in a room that Im fixing up to be a nursery for more wall space, safety,  and aethetics, and so far its exactly what I was looking for.  Here are some notes that wouldve helped me when i was deciding on the heater:
-  Install is as easy as it could possible be.  If you want it to be easier, hire someone else to do it.
-  Looks just like a central hvac vent, BUT does stick out about 3/4 of an inch vs the 3/8" or so a std vent would.  It really gave the room an updated look.
-  It has 2 elements, a 700w and 900w, that can either both be powered or you can just select one to allow for 3 settings (configured by plugging/unplugging spade terminals during install, so its a semi permanent setting)
-  Its electric heat and watts are watts  so id say it heats just about the same as any other similar watt electric heaters, but the heat seems more even than the baseboard since it has a fan to circulate.
-  The grill does get pretty hot, but to the point where if a kid touches it they wont do it again, but it couldnt seriously hurt you like the fins of a baseboard heater could.
-  Its not super quiet, but better than the expansion racket the baseboards made.  Its no louder than any other cylindrical style fan ive heard, id liken it to the sound of a running refridgerator.
Im going see how it works for the rest of this season and as long as it holds up (i see no reason why it wont) i plan on replacing the baseboards in the other beds and bathrooms.
Yes, I recommend this product.

This heater was eay to install and is a great help in supplementing forced air in a two-family home. The 240V version is quieter than the 120 - I installed one of each because I used an existing circuit on the 120.
Yes, I recommend this product.

we had trouble finding something for our bathroom to replace baseboard during a remodel. although it hasn't been turned on yet, the quality is as shown and it came quickly after ordering. I am using this on an exterior wall and look forward to the warmth on my towels up above it!
Yes, I recommend this product.

After remodeling 2 baths using this Cadet heater as a replacement for old electric baseboard I decided it would be just perfect for my kitchen remodeling job coming up. Quiet operation and easy installation only makes it even better for a warm toasty bath. Perfect for solving the problem of not being able to use floor space in front of electric baseboard, uses only approximately 1 foot of wall space. I'd recommend this heater to anyone. If you're not comfortable working with electric, use a qualified electrician.
Yes, I recommend this product.
