Has been installed for 10 years now, runs excellent...Ran for 5 days straight when it rained here for 5 days, heavy, heavy rain, almost all cellars flooded in the city here......The best pump i have ever seen. easy to install. And it is quiet. And cheap compared to pumps for $200.00 plus...
Yes, I recommend this product.

I did my homework and wanted to purchase a Wayne submersible pump. The only problem was that it was not carried in the store so I had to order it. Other than that, I installed it into a drain by my backyard patio and I was impressed the moment I plugged it in. It's rained several times since it was installed and my patio hasn't flooded!
Yes, I recommend this product.

Purchased for renters about a month ago after frantic call that basement was full of water when they got home form work. Ordered by phone and had it shipped directly to them. Tenant had no problem installing so no need for the backup handyman on call. Problem solved. No water issue since even with melting snow and lots of rain.
Yes, I recommend this product.

I bought this unit for our loading dock sump and it works great. The cast iron construction weighs it down and keeps it in place while the built in float works flawlessly.
Yes, I recommend this product.

This is the second one of these pumps I have purchased for two sump pits in basement. Construction is sound, installation is straightforward, and the price is great. Haven't seen them work yet in flood conditions, but initial tests were satisfactory.
Yes, I recommend this product.

Not durable only lasted 6 years

Has been sitting in my sump pit for 6 years, pumping like a champ. Took it out for annual cleaning and found housing rusted through in 3 places - pump leaking oil. At 3 years, the float rod rusted through since it was made of steel. I had to fashion a new one from copper. Overall, the pump lasted way less than my expectations.

The pump is exactly what I needed and appears to be very well made. It is mainly an emergency pump and has thankfully not been tested (knock on wood).

This item appears well made and works as it should. The week after I installed it, It rained all week and this pump worked like a charm. Time will tell how long it will last, hopefully it will last 25 years like the one it replaced.

"My First Sump Pump"
,
PostedJune 15, 2006
Kelli Laffin
from Londonderry, NH 03053
Hi, My name is Kelli, Let me tell you a story... I just bought a house 7 months ago..in the Fall season might I add. Well, It is now spring, and I am learning new things about my new Home. One of them being a water issue. We had quite a bit of rain fall in my area recently. We have irrigation issues and I noticed during this time that my hot water was acting funny and that my heat wouldn't go on, so around back of the house I went to the crawl space...and I opened the bulk head--to my shocking surprise...the space was so full of water it was near the floor heating ducts above, my sump pump had stopped working.. So that is how I came to your company to purchase a new pump. I reviewed pumps online and was amazed at how much information you give about the product..it made my bad experience so much better..it was easy for me to review each product and learn about it. This was most important to me--because after living in the city with pulic services, I defineatly did not know anything about a sump pump. And tis was a time I needed to learn. I reviewed each pump and decided on the one I purcased. I look forward to searching on line for moe prospective products. And one suggestion I hav is t put items that are not deliverable by mail on the site anyways, so it may be eviewed. I was looking for screen doors for my sliders that do not have any and I could not find any on line, and had to go to the local Home depot to see prices and sizes.
Thank you for your great product!! my crawl space is very dry now, and I even will purcase te battery back up for it in the nead futur. Kelli

This 17 pound pump was just the trick to take inches of water off the pool cover. It was so fast and the water was gone before i knew it. This pump is great and easy to use. Very easy for women to use and carry.
Yes, I recommend this product.
