"Love the nautical look of the fan; searched for awhile to find something like this with the fan blades like sails. Have a big room and the long blades work well. Very quiet; doesn't move that fast at high but do feel the air circulating. Like how the light dims."

Beautiful, but moves very little air,
March 24, 2007
"We installed this fan in our sun room, the ceilings are 10 feet tall. Even on high, you can hardly feel the air. On low, you wouldn't even know the fan was on. The fan looks beautiful, I just wish it had better air flow. I even emailed the manufacturer to see if it was defective because we couldn't believe for the price that this is the way the fan was supposed to function."

Pretty, But....,
February 25, 2007
"It is a very nice solidly built fan. Although most of the Hampton Bay Fans are as such. For the price however I would have expected a little more air movement. Even at high speed the fan does not move a whole lot of air. Also the remote unit is of the old type and is not built in. With the fan not having any controls on board, the remote is the only way to control it. If that unit goes south the fan is rendered useless. I have other Hamptons in my house that do not have on board controls but the remote unit is built directly into the fan. As well those remotes include temp sensors and timers to boot. I guess I would have liked to see a little bit more with this fan."

68 In. 3-Blade Fan in Rope/Brushed Nickel,
October 20, 2006
"This nautical themed, three (large) bladed ceiling fan is a well built fan guaranteed to give any homeowner years, if not decades of enjoyment.
The install was easy and problem free. This fan is a solid piece of equipment that can be hung by one person, but two makes it all the more easier!
Provided is a remote, two downrods to adjust the distance from the ceiling and a few extra screws in case you lose one.
This large fan is ideal for large rooms (20X20) and is whisper quiet when it is operating. The light dimmer is controlled by the remote control.
If you want a durable, quiet and easy to install fan, this a fan that is hard pass up!"

Terrific Fan,
September 28, 2006
"Being a sailor and living in a warm climate, this fan was a terrific addition to my large patio. It was easy to install (only three blades) and the remote works like a charm. I'm pretty picky, but I have nothing negative to say about this fan. With the current price discount, it is well worth it."

"I just loved this fan when I saw it. Bringing it home and intsalling it was the best thing we could've done for our kitchen. It brings so much more light and even color to it. It is truely amazing how much light can add to your life."
