32 oz. Gloss Sealer and Finish
Gloss Sealer and Finish is a high gloss, protective finish and surface sealer for Saltillo, terra-cotta, quarry tile, slate and flagstone. It seals the surface to resist stains, dirt and grease. It beautifies and enhances color while providing scuff, mar and scratch resistance. This acrylic, water-based finish has low odor and will not yellow with age.

Nice gloss finish on the slate. Had to apply 5 coats on one floor and 3 on another to get the nice glossy finish. I think the 5 coats needed because I used a wet lambs wool applicator after the 1st coat.(Need to clean the applicator with soap and water or it hardens) Used different wool and a sponge for subseqent coats on the 2nd floor and worked much better.

Used on Pennsylvania Bluestone after the stuff the installer recommended didn't seem to do anything at all. Made a world of difference in a very subtle and understated way. Just what I was hoping for.., for once.

This high gloss looks great on slate flooring.

At first we figured that sealing our slate with a high gloss would make it look cheap but it turned out great. It goes on easy with a sponge mop and doesn't take long to dry. It makes the texture of the slate feel much smoother and makes mopping easier because the mop glides much better across the floor. This product is a must for a family with slate flooring. It will help keep your slate stain free and easier to clean. I have a toddler and with all his spills I kind of regretted getting slate. But now I love it.
