Sharing of Internet Now easy,
November 3, 2006
"Starting with the price and ease of puchasing the 802.11G 54Mbps Wireless Router from Home Depot and the ease of use of the product has been great. With the wireless router from Belkin I am able to do my work related internet use and my family can at the same time check e-mail and chat with friends. I would recommend both the product and Home Depot online shopping to my friends."

Belkin 802.11G 54Mbps Wireless Cable/dsl router,
November 3, 2006
"Replaced a Linksys G router that would not communicate with a new network drive that I had purchased. The Belkin unit communicates perfectly without one error. Very easy setup and also does not need to be periodically reset like the Linksys model. For the price you cannot beat it with any other model out there."

Good, but problematic with DELL PC,
November 2, 2006
"I read excellent reviews of the product prior to purchasing. And upon receiving (it only has one external antenna now, BTW. And yes, the UPC/Model #s are correct), it took my network-certified bf 3-4 hrs on the phone w/Belkin's toll-free (thankfully!) 24/7 support before they figured out why he couldn't get it online.
It took another two nights and 6-8 hrs wi/Belkin to connect my wireless Belkin adapter to this router.
It turns out that their products have a problem with Dell computers (what I have). At least, that's what their "Level 2" support person told us.
A month down the road, it's been steady & secure online with good coverage and very good-to-excellent signal strength with Comcast Cable broadband.
The Dell issue with its (separate) wireless adapter has been problematic--but that's for a different review!
However, one might note that when we (first) tried to connect, it was with a Link-sys adapter (prior to having to purchase the Belkin adapter), & we couldn't link w/this router no matter what. (They shouldn't have to be matching brands to link together!)
And Belkin wouldn't help because the Link-sys adapter "wasn't their product,"...nor would Linksys aid on the other side (because the Belkin router wasn't their product). :(
Anyway, folks on other forums recommend this router because it's dd-wrt compatible so will be a powerful workhorse."

Great DSL Router,
June 15, 2006
By Elaine
from Bradenton FL
"I've never had a router easier to install, literally plug and play where some others will not work with DSL. The only problem I've found is trying to make it secure ... so far, its not."
