"Pros:
The movable coal tray and bottom access door allow you to carefully control the surface temperature of your grill. If you're into slow cooking large roasts on a charcoal grill, you need this kind of a setup.
Because of the bottom door you can also slowly add hardwood of your choice for smoking, without disturbing the pile too much - you won't get ashes on your food. I love this grill.
Cons: Like someone else said, the materials could be higher quality. Black oxide coated steel is corrosion resistant, but left outside and unused (yes using it will slow down the process) it will rust in places. After considerable use pieces will fall apart.
I had to repair the coal tray in mine, and shim the opening for the front thermometer when mine fell out and wouldn't set back in properly.
Lastly, the thermometer is low quality and only reads out vague infomration: 'warm' 'hot' etc. I had to resort to using a stand-up oven thermometer and a roast pyrometer to monitor my grill's temperature. Nothing new here, but if there's a built-in thermometer you should be able to get useful information from it.
Overall, I'm happy with this purchase; the pros outweigh the cons."
