This product looks good in the store. It appeared to be a quality dishwasher until less than 2 months after it was installed, it just stopped working. It was installed on January 17th and stopped working on March 3rd. We could not even call anyone to get it fixed because they are not open on the weekends.
So on March 5th, we called and they came out on March 8th. Of course, they had to order a part. They were to come out and install the new parts that were shipped to the house. They came out today the 15th of March. The dishwasher is still not working. They already replaced the Circuit board because the lights would come on and look like it would appear to begin to start and everything would just stop and lights would go out.
Now they need to replace a "motor". Since we just bought this Diswasher for OVER $700, we wanted a NEW diswasher rather than parts replaced at this point. We were told from the MAYTAG service center that is NOT possible. Why would anyone spend $700 for a NEW Dishwasher that needs to be fixed after LESS than 2 months of operation. Even the cheap dishwasher the builder installed lasted 10 years without a single issue.
Too bad Maytag isn't customer savvy. We are going to be replacing our Refridgerator, Stove/Oven and Microwave this year as well. I really like the French Door Bottom Freezers, but I will be sure to stay away from MAYTAG on ALL appliances.

This great dishwasher allows me to wash stuff I could have never washed before! I have washed my George Foreman (large)removable grill plates, my broiler pan, numerous pots, pans, frying pans, lids, and large bowls, in the extra rack at the bottom of this dishwasher! The three racks make getting more dirty dishes and pots into the washer. These probably would have to be washed by hand with a two rack machine. The middle rack is adjustable-for tall stuff, or to get more room in the third rack below. The top rack has adjustable tines for glasses, etc.(can put pots up here, too) Excellent cleaning, many cycles to choose from, and is very, very, quiet! Love the stainless tub-stays clean-doesn't smell or stain. Had a Maytag dishwasher before this one, and it lasted a long time(with no problems). I'm really glad I stayed with this brand. I have never written a product review before, but I find them very helpful when I'm looking to purchase stuff, so, I thought I'd start with this. Hope this is helpful to you!
