Awsome,

"This machine was great like other people said it was so easy to use. For a person who never painted before this really made it easier I am glad I purchased it. The only reason why I did not give it a 5 star is because of clean up. That was a pain but it was still worth it."

Well worth the price. Cleanup is a pain.,

"I had 200 SF of 10' ceiling and 300 SF of wall to paint. I did the first coat with a hand roller... it took me 5 hours to paint and a half hour to clean up.
Then I bought the power roller... it took me 2 hours to paint and an hour to clean up. That's three less hours of staring at the ceiling. The paint came out a lot more even too, because I was able to keep a wet edge and apply a more consistent layer.
I give it 4 stars instead of 5 for two reasons... cleanup is pretty tedious. I would NOT get this product if you don't have an outside hose or a large laundry tub to cleanup in. Plus, the paint brand I used came in those new resealable screw-top plastic jugs. I had to buy a spare empty paint can to use the feed tube, another thing I had to clean.
Also, Wagner should include the roller cleaner accessory in the box rather than charging an extra six bucks for it."

Great Tool,
January 27, 2009
By carlp
"Despite some of the negative reviews, I found using this very helpful. I can do an entire room in about an hour.
If you're not painting at least one room at a time, then yes, it's not worth using.
The clean up is the same for any other tools. Just follow the instructions. It does take awhile for the tubing and motor housing to dry out, but any little water remaining will mix with the paint just fine the next time you use it."

More trouble than it was worth,

"Great concept/idea. Pour execution? The roller kept sliding over the surface rather than rolling. Which made me have to go over things a number of times or else the texture would not have been uniform. And I tried several times to get the hang of keeping it clean and using paint sparingly (as the directions said) and also in excess. Even tried wd40 as a last resort. Same thing every time; sticks. Returned it. I'll stick with my good old fashioned roller and tray."

I now enjoy painting,
July 15, 2008

"I bought a house a few weeks ago, and decided to repaint three bedrooms, two bathrooms, kitchen, living room, dining room and family room over the July 4th weekend. Without this tool, I would still be working on the first coat.
Set up was a breeze - I used the attachment with a 5 gallon tub of Kilz primer, and primed all of the walls in around 6 hours. Cleaning up was fairly straightforward, as I had watched a video demonstration on the Wagner website. I just filled a clean 1 gallon paint can with warm soapy water, turned the speed up to 9, and pumped the paint from the tube back into the Kilz tub. As soon as a little water appeared, I dumped the hose into an empty bucket and let it drain the remainder of the gallon of soapy water through the hose.
The next morning, I set up with the main paint - a Valspar Premium flat enamel paint. Painting with this tool is very easy - just press the button and keep rolling. I had the speed set to 1 and kept her pumping - it was easy to do a complete wall in under 15 minutes, going backwards and forwards over each area to achieve a good finish. The roller does get a little heavy at the end of the day, and the hose can sometimes get in the way, but this tool saved me so much time - it's one of my better purchases."

Make painting (rollling ) easy,

"Must have if you are painting wall and ceilings. However, edge attachments are not up to the same level. Only drawback is weight. The handle and roller can be a little tiring."

Wagner Power Roller Quicktouch,
June 1, 2006
By Julie
from Plano, TX
"Make sure you get the model with the Quickclean adapter, otherwise clean-up is too troublesome. It's easy to use and with the new easy clean up it's quick and easy too. You can knock out a room in less than half the time as a traditional roller. I'll never paint a room without it again. The corner tool doesn't work too great but that may be my preference to a brush or small roller for detail; they're a little cleaner for me."
