The Cadet Electric Baseboard heater utilizes convection to circulate air and provide efficient warmth. Typically installed under a window, the cool air falls from the window area as the warm air rises from the heater, causing the air to tumble gently throughout your room. The quiet operation and low cost installation make it a perfect choice for a bedroom or nursery. Rugged steel construction, with powder coated paint for a durable, premium finish. Installation is easy with a pre-punched case at 1 in. intervals, and wiring is available at either end. A thermostat is required.

Seems to be a good product so far, Home Depot needs to include in their online product description that the required thermostat is not included. I ended up having to drive 3 hours to get thermostats since no store closer carried them. After checking other sites I found they state thermostat required, this would have saved alot of time and fuel. I had a tight timeline to get these installed and couldn't have them shipped

I actually have bought more than one of these heaters, replacing heaters that have been in my house for 40 yrs.
I only have one thing to say, one of the heaters I bought must have been returned because one end of the heater factory wiring had been previously cut. It was rewired incorrectly and I was lucky I opened that end and not the other to install. It was a dead short. told cust service

Element cover was one inch short. Had to reorder and will have to return defective heater to store.

This is one of a few Cadet baseboard heaters I've purchased from Home Depot. These heaters work quite well, especially if your building is insulated.
These heaters are easy to install and wire. I feel they are quite a bargain and free shipping make the deal a bit sweeter.
I would recommend using a wall mounted thermostat with these heaters for ease of use, and avoiding the bend down on multiple heaters.
