I think Fiskars is over rated. When you work in the garden things wear out. Everything wears out. Fiskars maybe lasts a little longer, that's it.
Pros: Sharp, Good Shape

I haven't used the pruner for an entire season, as yet, but so far I'm really pleased with the cutting capability of it. My only complaint is that it's really stiff - you have to lock it to stay shut. After reading other reviews, I was prepared for it to break down quickly. That hasn't happened & I'm pretty tough on my tools. I would recommend it to other gardeners.
Pros: Multi Use, Stylish, Good Shape, Durable, Strong, Sharp, Great Quality
Cons: it's too stiff.
Yes, I recommend this product.

I bought the Fiskars pruner because I expected it to be a superior product. I was not disappointed. I use it for my rose bushes, but my wife uses it a lot more than I do and she is very satisfied.

Cutting wise these are effective but the fact that the rubber grip covers CONSTANTLY fall off (at least during the first 3 days of use) negates any of the positive. Looking through the lawn/garden discards to find the black rubber handle covers is not how I want to spend my time in the garden.
Pros: Sharp
Cons: grips fall off
No, I do not recommend this product.

My husband has gone through 3 of these pruners this summer. The lock screw and cheap plastic nut falls off and is lost among your pruning debris. A slightly longer screw and/or a heftier nut are the improvements necessary.

For trimming rose bushes, shrubs and small shoots off trees, these pruners are get the job done and hold their edge well so far. The grip design reduces hand cramps too especially important when doing big jobs.
