I had to use (10) 5gal containers to coat my 1400sgft flat roof in Monrovia, CA, I applied three coats and it does make a big difference, not only is it a lot cooler but it much easier to wash it down the leaves that collect in some of the corners.
I could plug the drains in the roof fill it with water and have a 3 foot deep pool on my roof, great for floating around on on a hot summer day, how cool would that be?
It would also make a good advertising space that could be seen by passing helicopters and airplanes.
Pros: Easy to Use, Performs Well, Easy to Install, Easy to Work With, Seals Well, Great Value, Easy to Clean, High Quality, Economical
Yes, I recommend this product.

I did a lot of research on web this product got very good reviews. I have a sloped roof 3-family the 3rd floor would get extremly hot . I usually used aluminum fiber It was good this is better .White does reflect uv and thermo heat better. This product went on thick 2 coats later was extremely white with thick rubber like membrane. Got some on arm had to scrub off very difficult to remove.
Pros: Performs Well, Easy to Work With, Seals Well, Great Value, High Quality

Bedrooms are located in the rear of our house with flat roof (BUR) above and no insulation. During the day there was a heat build-up in this area that didn't cool sufficiently with our central air conditioning for comfortable sleeping, even using the ceiling fan. Internet researched how to cost effectively cool this space and found a roofer blog that indicated to keep the area below cool you need to first coat the roof. I never heard of roof coatings, but after researching decided this made sense. Then searched different products and decided to use Henry's Solarflex 287F. I wasn't sure coating the roof would work but decided to go with this product because it is cost effective; received good ratings from consumers; and is energy star rated. I first prepped; power hosed, then applied Henry's 289 sealant to all of the seams and edges; once dry I applied 2 coats of Solarflex 287F with a roller. I'm a 60 year old female and found this entire process was very easy (needed help hauling the paint onto the roof). Prior to application by noon the roof was so hot to the touch you could burn your hand. After application the roof remains COOL TO THE TOUCH. I am amazed by this!! Our bedroom is now cooler than the rest of the house, even in the hottest part of the day, and better yet no heat build-up. I estimate the bedroom area is now around 4 degrees cooler than the rest of the house and we are very comfortably sleeping at night; I actually need to use a cover. I am more than satisfied with this product!!!
Yes, I recommend this product.

I live in a rowhome with a flat roof. It's around 90 here today, April 27th, and I took a meat thermometer up on the roof to test it. My neighbor with the black roof was 128 degrees, mine was 110. You could really feel the difference, my roof was just about cool to the touch compared to the other one. Excellent $75 investment, was worth baking on the roof this weekend.
Yes, I recommend this product.

We purchased a house that had an add-on family room with a beautiful (flat) open beam ceiling. However, with no insulation it would become a radiator in the summer sun. I was skeptical about how much difference a roof coating could make, but after applying Henry's Soalrflex 287coating the room was significantly cooler even during the hottest brightest summer days. One of the best upgrades we could make to our new home!
Yes, I recommend this product.
