Stylish throughout the house,
September 28, 2006
"I purchased 4 of these fans to coordinate with the contemporary whole house change out from bright brass to brushed nickel. One for the kitchen, florida room, great room and master suite. I didn't realize until they were installed how truely stylish, quiet, and functional they were. I purchased the extra downrods also since the ceilings were so high. These are the best fans I've ever seen or owned and the price is excellent! It took the contractor about 1 1/2 hours to replace each fan."

Totally Cool Ceiling Fan,
August 17, 2009
"I usually only buy Hunter Ceiling fans but I loved the design of this Hampton Bay so I took a chance and I'm glad I did. The fan is gorgeous! It runs quietly and looks totally cool in my family room, and speaking of cool, it easily handles this 625 sq. ft. room. The remote control is simple to operate and the light gives off a pleasing overhead illumination. I am crossing over from traditional style to modern and this fan fits right in. I can't speak to ease of assembly or installation because I had an electrician do the work."

Great and modern ceiling fan,
July 9, 2009
"We researched a lot of ceiling fans and decided on this model. We like the look of the brushed nickel. It is very modern. We just completed a remodel, so an electrician installed the ceiling fan. It did not take them too long. The model comes with a remote (you have to purchase the battery), but works fine with remote or wall switch. The fan is very quiet on all speeds and so relaxing in the bedroom. I would definately recommend this fan to anyone considering it. It also comes in a model with black blades that my husband also liked, so that is another option. Great value for the money!"

Works well, uses halogen light,
March 16, 2009
"The fan works great. We have 4 of them in a home and they run very quietly, actually one of the quietest fans we have owned. Replacement domes are somewhat expensive, so don't break the light.
The one thing I would prefer is a non-halogen light. We backed off to a 75W light bulb instead of the 100 W."

Wonderful Contemporary Ceiling Fan,
August 3, 2008
"Absolutely beautiful contemporary design, excellent air movement, silent operation (except wind-noise when on high) and a very bright light – the globe is not overly frosted as others tend to be – which makes it perfect for the kitchen where this one is.
I have installed several other ceiling fans over the years and the installation of the blades on this fan is a bit tricky, as others have mentioned, but worth it for the finished look.
The included remote uses a non-standard battery – not included – so make sure you pick that up as well, or, as I have done with this and other fans, get a different remote/receiver kit.
I dislike the remote controls that are included and as more and more fans are coming with those as the only option, I am glad to have found another option – which Home Depot also sells. The Lutron MAESTRO DUO remote fan and light control. It comes with the receiver but the ‘remote unit’ replaces the wall switch – so nothing to lose or break and no batteries are needed – and it is meant for ‘single pole’ (wire) situations like mine. At around $50 it is pricey, but well worth it to me. I have used these on all 4 ceiling fans in my home – 2 that came with remote-only controls (no pull chains) and 2 that were standard pull-chain. Installation for this is also very easy and I have never had a problem with any of them."
