Electric power shovel plus broom

Easy to operate, and does the job it was intended to do. Shoots the snow out far enough so that there is not a build up near the area you are clearing. The broom made clean up real easy with no real effort on my part.

really liked the amount of snow it handled, over 8 inches and it cut right through it. just had a record snow/ice storm and it performed beautifully. amazed that it actually threw snow about 20 ft ! just as it stated in the ad. it certainly beats using a shovel by hand, this power shovel was a godsend . the adjustable handle and lightweight body really made the difference. didn't have this last snow storm, remember coming back in the house and it took a long time to recuperate, this time i hardly felt tired. neighbors asked to borrow it ! quality, price and ease of operation = A + !!!

Better then a Shovel

This Electric Shovel is outstanding, I had it setting outside on my back porch all winter long. Every time that I need it, it worked with no problem. It is lite, easy to move and it blows the snow. I was able to clear my back porch in just minutes, no matter how deep the snow was (sometimes over 16"). I would recommend that everyone should have one of these, it really saves on the back.

I liked this product, but the cord kept getting hard and kept getting in the way. I would like it better if you could charge it and not have a cord to get in the way. It did what it said it would as far as throwing the snow, but the snow would only through straight ahead. It would be better if the snow would through to the left or right.

No, I do not recommend this product.
I would not suggest this to anyone who wants to use it on anything more than 3". We bought it shortly after my husband had surgery on the discs in his neck. We hadn't had it a month and the machine froze up and wouldn't start again. Thinking this might just have been a lemon - we returned it and decided to try another. The replacement had the same issue today. This machine is just not capable of anything more than "dusty" snow, and has never been able to do more than a few inches at a time. The description is deceiving when it claims it can clear up to 6 ".
This is not to say that the brand is to blame - but I do think they may want to re-test the product. After all, if you spend over $100 - you should have a product that at least does what it claims without bogging down and dying.
In fact, we decided to buy the Toro 1800 Power Curve Electric Snow Thrower as the replacement this time. It has 12 Amps (instead of the 7.5 amps that this model has), can clear up to 10 ", has a Poly V-belt drive system and variable speeds. So far so good - it seems to be able to do the job this power shovel couldn't. So - if you don't usually get much snow (and a small area to clear like in housing developments) - I would say go for the Toro 1800 Power Curve instead of this one - you'll probably have better luck too!
