The first fan I received was broken and was returned. A second fan arrived quickly and was intact. Love this fan because of the modern look. The three blades move far more air than the five-blade I had been using. It does seem a bit loud and wobbly on high speed, but that could be due to the installer.

The fan was fairly easy to assemble. Just be sure to go through all of the instructions before starting anything. It makes it a lot easier.

Fan lades were scratched. Returned the fans. These supposed to be new order. Manufacturing deffect.

We purchased this fan for my husband's office. It's not a very large room (10'x13') so it's plenty powerful just on the lowest setting. It looks really cool and much more expensive than what we paid for it. We like the sliding wall control - it adds to the illusion of it being more pricey and it's very functional.

I was really excited about the fan. The transparent blades were pretty snazzy and the brushed nickel finish complemented my home. Within a few minutes of the fan being installed, it started clicking on the 2nd fastest speed. I moved it down to the 3rd fastest, with the intent of having someone come over and troubleshoot why it was clicking. Several weeks later, when the electrician pulled the fan, he noticed that the area holding the downrod was bent (I'm sorry that I can't be more technical). Needless to say, there was something wrong with the engine. Rather than replace the fan with one similar, I went with a higher quality fan to save money in the long run.

We are so pleased with this amazing fan. It's almost unbelievable...this one is a keeper. We installed it in the kitchen. It looks great and keeps the kitchen area remarkably cool..fantastic air flow. The blades are clear (colorless) so even though 56 in. it does not take over the room. Our kitchen area is about 9x11 ft. Try it, no buy it and you'll love it!!!

Installed 3 in a 40' room. They move so much air that the air conditioning can be lowered significantly. EVERYONE COMMENTS ON THE THEIR LOOKS.

I SOMEHOW THOUGHT THE DESCRIPTION SAID PLASTIC BLADES - THESE WERE CHROME - VERY HEAVY - THE WHOLE UNIT WEIGHED A TON - IT WAS NOT SUITABLE FOR MY KITCHEN - I GUESS IT WAS MY FAULT FOR NOT ABSORBING THE DESCRIPTION.
AS USUAL RETURN WAS NO TROUBLE - THANK YOU

Overall this is a really great value for a fan that really puts out nice volume. It was simple to install and seems very sturdy. My only complaints are 1) don't look at the blades while they're turning, you might get a little motion sickness (the clear blades really distort any objects behind them and are hard to look at. Luckily this is an office unit for me and I don't look up at it!), 2) Would have been great if they included a wall-mounted remote control unit instead of the really cheap slider toggle switch that just feels cheap. I'd have gladly paid a little more for a remote switch. 3) The motor is noisy, but considering the cost of the fan, what do you expect. I have more costly Minka fans throughout the house that are nearly silent, but you pay for it.
Overall a great value I'd recommend. If you need a fan with no light, that has a simple look, this is the one.

This fan was for my son's room. He has an enormous room and it's the perfect size and just the right sci-fi touch for him. However, for my part, I think it needs a reverse directional button. The fan only blows down. There's no way to make it blow up as with every other ceiling fan in our home -- we have six, including this one.

We purchased this ceiling fan just before the holidays and we got some compliments on it. They were also surprised to hear how much we paid. Works great and noticing the circulation of heat in that room because of the fireplace. Hoping/expecting to safe some bucks on the heating bill. I do see what others are writing about with regard to the 'optical illusion' but it doesn't bother me at all.

Actually I am going to have to take it back. It is my fault but I didn't notice it didn't have a light. I'm disappointed with myself becuse the fixture photo looks great. All my own fault.

This is a great fan if you're looking for a bit different modern design. First, the fan motor itself is attractive and small, as well as heavy for stability. It doesn't overpower a room with its size, but seems to have a substantial motor. The switch to plexiglas blades is pretty cool, again helping the fan blend into the ceiling instead of creating a huge ornament in the room. Our fan is ultra quiet even on high speed. You'll most likely run on medium or high due to the 3 fan blades instead of 5. Yes, if you stare up at it in a well-lit room the clear blades do bend the light and create a small illusion of a wobble even though it's steady. Just find something better to do than stare at it. We did not need an additional light, and the fact the fan is designed without the normal hanging pull chains was a nice plus. Our wall switch arrived broken, but customer service was very nice in helping us with a quick replacement. Equivalent fans at local lighting stores around Chicago started at $250.

I bought this fan for both the looks and the price - $99. This fan will work in any room because of the clear blades and has a nice modern flair to it. The only issue is that when you look at the fan when it is on there is a dizzying effect, but just look away and enjoy the whisper quiet breeze!
