Worked great until it died. I was thinking about getting another one but sounds like other people are having them die as well. They just don't make things like they used to.

Hard to clean, awkward to use. After about two months of use, now makes horrible coffee. I've tried three different brands, but all are too strong and bitter. (It did make good coffee at first.)

We had it about 10 months and loved it. We took such care of it with cleaning between pots, making sure not to break anything so it would last forever, but, we turned it on one morning and it would not brew, no matter how much we tried. We even gave it a break and didn't turn it on for a couple of days, still nothing. It is so tempting not to buy another one. We are still debating. It really did make good coffee and even the beeping didn't bother us with the 5 beeps when it was done. I would suggest this coffee maker.

Mine was getting old, and I ordered another one last month. I love everything about this coffee maker. It looks nice on the counter, delivers very good-tasting coffee every time, and is easy to use. I like the feature which offers a higher temperature if you need.

This coffee maker is a replacement I bought the first one four + years ago it still works but it started to leak from the bottom Cuisinart made some changes and the quality is not quite the same and the price is a little high.

This is my 2nd Cuisinart coffee maker. I now have one for home and one for my office. I love all the features: the ability to control the heater plate, the auto brewing capability and brew pause. I can sneak a cup before the rest has finished brewing and it does not ruin the rest of the pot. Plus, it looks really cool on my counter top. You cannot do better for the money.

Bought this Black Friday online...First off the good. It makes a PERFECT cup of coffee..hot and very smooth tasting thanks to its water filter. We really like the different settings for the temperature of the Carafe and the ability to make a smaller pot if needed. It also looks great sitting on the counter and matches our other metallic appliances. The finish IS plastic and just has the brushed metallic look however. The overall retro look is very cool as well. The Carafe does not spill or drip and that is a major plus! Now for the not so great...I agree with some of the previous reviews about the water gauge..it IS hard to judge how much water you are using especially for someone who is short..my Mother has to stand on her tip toes to peer into it to see as she is pouring in the water. Best thing to do is just measure the amount of cups you want to brew via the Carafe and forget the internal water gauge. My biggest and only real complaint tho is the clock. It is digital but does NOT light up (backlit) It is USELESS in the dark and not easy to see in the daytime. Had I known that alone, I would've bought another coffee maker. As much as it cost, you SHOULD be able to see the time especially when you are programming it etc. BIG design flaw! Now that we have it and have used it atleast 20 times the average brew time is 9 minutes for a full pot and it does signal you when it is ready..and when it is ready, you will enjoy an excellent cup of coffee!. For that we can overlook some drawbacks.

I've been using this coffee maker for about a week; about 21 pots brewed. The taste of the coffee is great. Fast brewing time and nice customizable options like the burner settings: L, M, H. Also I almost always program the coffee to brew for the morning so I can wake to the smell of coffee. It has a very 1940s or 1950s retro feel to it with nobs and hard to read digital timer. Cons: a little overpriced, Made in China.

So far I am enjoying this newly purchased coffemaker. Like the brewing performance and features including permanent gold tone filter, contemporary stainless steel finish and no-nonsense easy to use controls and no drip pouring carafe. Only negative is the opening for the water reservoir is small/curved making it a challenge to add water without spilling it into surrounding coffemaker. Other than this I would say I am pleased with this purchase and the brand. Also it has a 3 year warranty which I believe is better than competition.

Water gauge for filling is inside filler and very hard to read, esp for shorter person. (I bought this to use for frequent smaller brewings). However, friend pointed out I could just use markings on the glass carafe and fill from carafe...Haven't tried that yet for accuracy.

I'm really pleased with this coffee maker. It looks good on the counter -- which is important to me -- it makes great coffee, and it has easy to use features that I like. The features are so easy that even ones you don't use often are easy to figure out without having to dig through the drawer to find the manual. And it's easy to clean as well. Really a great kitchen coffee maker.

Not only does this coffee maker make a great cup of coffee, but it also looks great, too. The only thing that i can say negatively about the coffee maker is that it takes a little longer to clean that most others. But overall, I highly recommend this product.

This is a great coffemaker. My husband likes the conical gold-mesh filter and water filter. Replacement parts filters are easy to find when needed. It makes up to 12 cups, and works well with finely ground coffee (some pots tend to overflow when making a full pot using fine grounds). One neat feature is the 1-4 button, which makes a perfect small pot of coffee.
