A perfect addition to our "new" kitchen! This fan is modern and fashionable for our semi-updated kitchen. It was very easy to assemble, and equally easy to install. The size is perfect for small spaces and the look is "TODAY!", even though it is located in our 1939 kitchen with originial metal cabinetry and red pine flooring! Love it!

I have 8 hampton bay fans in my home, and have never had a problem out of any of them. I bought this fan 3 weeks ago to put into my laundry room. the shorter blades is what I have been looking for! I will always use hampton bay for 3 reasons:
1. style
2. cost
3. quality

Loud and lights don't work

I purchased this fan for my son's room. Had an electrician install it. The motor sounded like a plane going off! The instructions said there would be a 24 hour breaking in period for the noise to stop. What!?!? Didn't stop. Just 15 minutes after my son came home and turned it on, the lights went out and haven't worked since. I now have to have the electrician come back to uninstall so that I can return it to Home Depot. I thought about exchanging it for a new one, but after reading the other reviews, I don't think so.

We bought 4 of them 2 for kitchen 2 for family room. Very quiet and they look great 1 of them in the kitchen the switchs broke off on inside and we need to replace them not sure were to go to get them? But over all we thought it was a great purchase.

Bought this fan for the kitchen, installed it in about a half an hour and it works beautifully and compliments the kitchen ever so nicely. Did not want a giant fan in this area, and this just works amazingly well for our needs.

I love that this combines modern features and is still very warm. I needed a fan to take up a small space and this is perfect! You can alternate the design from black to rosewood. I bought 2 of these and used the black in one room and rosewood in the other. Love them!

Loved the ceiling fans but was very disappointed when we opened the paddles to put on the already installed fan and they were badly scratched and chipped (bought 2 fans and this was with just 1 fan). We weren't about to take the fan out and send back. We will fix the issue ourselves.

Its hard to find a small fan to blend with black and stainless deco.This one does. However there are issues.1 Lamp wattage is 9w(cfl provided) Max.A larger cfl won't fit the shades. 2 The shades require a firm twist to seat properly. 3 Attaching the fitter may require patience.The motor start capacitor was too close to the side of the fan housing.It's held in place with double sided tape.I had to remove the tape so the cap. would move allowing easier assembly of the fitter to the fan.

I love Hampton Bay brand lighting & fans. They are easy to install and the product you order is the product you get. You never have to say that it looked better online in the picture. My home is 3500 sq. ft. and there is at least one Hampton Bay fan in each room. They are quiet and add a nice touch to any room.

My husband took the fan apart and went over everything, then re- assembled it. Works great now. We still dont know why the fan stopped in the middle of the night. Love the fan, its in our daughters room and she loves it too.

I have been a professional electrician for 22 years, and have never had such a difficult time with installation. Installation time was over 1 hour. The included lamps didn't work and one actually broke in my hand. I am very disappointed in the quality of this product.

Install easy, looks good, worked untill some time in the middle of the first night the fan went out. The light works fine. Can't find the problem with the fan. Might be bringing it back.

I was a bit skeptical after reading the negative commentary on this fan, but I decided to give it a shot. It was super easy to install and I had it up and running in about 15 minutes. I was very impressed with the airflow! This thing really moves the air! It's quite operation makes it almost impossible to hear while running. The light is also really great. I didn't use the bulbs that were included. Instead, I purchased some mini flood light bulbs which I think are much better to use for this fan. I highly recommend this fan and the negative reviews are way off!

This fan is the ideal size for my kitchen. I like contemporary look. But it is little bit noise. And also ,when the fan on high speed -it's shaking, but on low absolutely fine. Spend some time to balanced blades, witch was not possible. Still shaking.
Quality-so-so. Design-very nice.
