This outdoor ceiling fan features a traditional rattan style for matching home furnishing, a fashionable guilded iron finish, and heavy duty construction for durability and long life. "I bought this for my son's room. It has a beachy/nautical decor and this was just what I wanted......also bought the light kit. The motor in the fan makes noise (unlike Hunter fans) and the light kit casts HORRIBLE shadows and shakes all over the room. I hate it! Plus it looks cheap!
After two plus hours for my handy husband to install....he is going to hate me for having to take it down and start over, but next time with a Hunter!"

Well built fan-directions could use a tweaking,

"The fan itself is built very well and goes together relatively easy, but the directions were a bit lacking. I bought the fan at a GREAT price on sale and the fan "feels" more expensive than what I paid. After going through the sparse directions, I realized that the unit is built for outdoor use (either I missed it on the Home Depot description, or it wasn't there). I would have probably ordered a couple more fans at the sale price if I had known it was good for outside use as well. The fan itself I give a 5 out of 5 stars-Directions were about a 2 out of 5, but even a big dummy like me finally figured it out."

"When we first looked at the fan online in the specifications section it stated it had a light,i.e.,[Light:Yes] so we bought it online. When we received it of course, no light.Now an additional trip to Home Depot and some $40 more, a beautiful fan and light with remote light switch makes it a center piece for our dining room.No regrets on the model but check out this section and confirm it with the online sales rep. it may save you some time.The online ad was changed after I reported the error."

"I bought 2 fans mainly for their looks. One works fine and one makes a noise on high speed. Both had to be balanced to take out wobble."
