Customer reviews for 6 ft. 1,500-Watt 240 Volt Electric Baseboard Heater White

6 ft. 1,500-Watt 240 Volt Electric Baseboard Heater White

The Cadet Electric Baseboard heater utilizes convection to circulate air and provide efficient warmth. Typically installed under a window, the cool air falls from the window area as the warm air rises from the heater, causing the air to tumble gently throughout your room. The quiet operation and low cost installation make it a perfect choice for a bedroom or nursery. Rugged steel construction, with powder coated paint for a durable, premium finish. Installation is easy with a pre-punched case at 1 in. intervals, and wiring is available at either end. A thermostat is required.

Makes a neat clean installation and only uses half the power as the 120 volt portable heaters. Really noticed the room is warmer and the heat is even. Most important the wall heaters we had the fan was so noisy that you couldn't hear the TV acdoss the room

This Heater took up the slack from the previous one, and it performs much better, safer, and more energy efficiently...
Next time I need anything to replace what needs to be replaced in this old house, I will be shopping through the Home Depot inventory, First...
Thank You

This winter I converted my Florida home from oil heat to electric baseboard heaters in each room using the Cadet 1500 and 1000 Watt units controled by the Cadet/ Honeywell thermostat. It works as advertised and uses 5KW to heat my well insulated 1200 square feet. I chose this over a heat pump for simplicity, installing it myself, and better cost against the more limited life of a heat pump.
The electricity costs just for heating for this winter were $130. Since resistance heaters have a very long life compared to other heat sources I expect in a climate with only slight demands on a heater, this will be useful long after other systems are replaced. The only moving part, the thermostat whch switches the full load can be repolaced in ten minutes and is reasonable.
Yes, I recommend this product.

My son's bedroom and my office both 11x14 were always very cold. I thought about replacing the windows until I saw a circular with this baseboard heater. I purchased two of them with thermostats for each room. It took my electrician and a helper 2 hours to install and I must admit I am very happy with them. The rooms are now very toasty. The heater came right on time for this winter. I would recommend it to anyone looking to heat up a small to medium size room

Bought 5 of these to replace the original 1970s baseboard heaters in condo. They look so much better and probably worth the purchase for that alone. But also heat evenly and were relatively easy to install. Bedroom is now much more evenly heated. With eletric thermostats (review elsewhere) the room does not get too hot. Recommended to neighbor renovating his condo. We returned two as we decided we didn't need them at this time, but will likely repurchase next winter.
Yes, I recommend this product.

I have a 6 foot electric heater in my garage, and I am glad that I picked this one instead of the other moveable kinds. I think I will be getting another one~~
