As an electrical contractor I've installed well over 100 of these and never had a problem. They are quiet and heat an area very quickley. The best part is that they don't take up a lot of room like the old baseboard type heaters. I highly recommend these heaters. Many people don't like electric heat, because they say they use to much energy. If you can heat a room quickley and not have to run your heater all day you can say a lot on your energy bills. This is not a heater you would use to heat the whole house. It works best in individual rooms that you can close the door and keep the heat in. Like a large bedroom. Cadet has many products and I've installed a number of them. If you size them correctly for the area and use wall thermostats, these heater can really do the job.
Yes, I recommend this product.

I had only a wood stove for heat so, I purchased two of these heaters so that I could heat just the rooms I wanted kept warm whenever I was away from home in the winter. One went in the kitchen near the living room (which is fairly open to each other; 450 sq. ft. combined) and the other went in the laundry room in such a way that it faced my bathroom and heated it, also. The laundry room and bathroom are pretty small and I didn't have to turn the heat up much at all for those two rooms. I had the other one turned halfway up and when I came home to 30 degrees outside, my house was 72! A little warmer than I wanted while I was away, but that was the trial run! The next time, I turned it down a quarter turn and came back to 22 outside and 60 inside. I'm confident that when the weather is expected around 0 or colder that these heaters will perform well enough to keep my pipes from freezing. I'm very pleased. It's too soon to say what the effect is on my power bill, but I'm sure it will be no more than the portable oil-filled radiant heaters were and I'm hoping it's actually less!
Yes, I recommend this product.
