3-3/8 in. x 3-3/8 in. x 8 ft. Construction Common Redwood Lumber

For your home's next project consider using the 4 in. x 4 in. x 8 ft. Redwood Board. This untreated, dimensional board is durable and known for its ability to withstand the outdoor elements. Stain or paint it to match your existing outdoor decor.

Pretty much what you expect from dimensional lumber - clean and consistent with grade. I used them as part of outdoor project building raised garden beds. The 4x4s were used as the corner posts.
Pros: Good Shape

No, I do not recommend this product.
The website said there were 74 of these at my HD store, so I figured getting the 7 good ones I needed for sign posts would be snap.
But there were only 24 of them, and they were picked over, mouldy, cracked and had big knots in them. I asked the staff if there were more somewhere else, but no one answered her page for someone from the lumber department.
So, off to the competition which was indicating 62 in stock. Seems you can find straight ones that are not red, or red ones that are full of knots, but not both. Hopefully the sap wood resists rot like the red parts do.
Cons: very poor quality and selection
