Love that electric chain saw!

We have owned a couple gas-driven chain saws, and the usual happens to them after a while--they become IMPOSSIBLE to pull-start! None of that with this electric chain saw. With a long extension cord, we cut off tree limbs with ease and NEVER have to "restart" this chainsaw unless we turn it off. It's powerful, but lightweight enough for a woman like me to use. Unless you have acres and acres of land, this electric chainsaw is the answer to keeping your trees trimmed and neat.

I am a woman and have a healthy fear of large gas chainsaws like my husbands.
So happy he gave this to me for Christmas!! Our heavy pine tree lot is going to look alot neater now that I no longer will be using a handsaw.
Used for 1.5 hrs straight and it works great and it is lightweight, which is a big plus for me due to my bad back.
Would buy another one if necessary!

This is a nice, inexpensive chainsaw good for light to medium duty.

Price is good BUT... poor quality, short life

No, I do not recommend this product.
I have only used this saw for 3 small projects. The bearings holding the plastic gear drive are already bad. The oiler does not deliver enough oil to the bar. The oil pump does nothing. The bar is difficult to keep in adjustment. It is not held in place very well and sometimes tightens up while using causing wear on the bar and chain.
Cheap price is why I bought it. I expected it to last for very light home use but I am dissatisfied. Next time I will spend more and buy better quality.

I found this electric chainsaw on line and then went to my local HD to see if it was in stock. It was. I like this one because it's lighter than the last one I had. It comes fully assembled so I just took it out of the box and used it. I like the electric model opposed to gas because of the light weight and low maintenance. Any woman who can wield a hand saw can handle this tool.

Decent light-weight Chainsaw

...but replacement chain/blade is hard to find. Remington 16" 2 chain replacement blades pak chain is just barely long enough to get on the bar and over the drive wheel. It does not leave enough slack for the adjustment screw tip to fit into the bar hole in order to tighten the chain after installing.
