This little guy puts out some serious heat. It was very easy to install and looks nice in the room. I was a little surprised that the unit comes with two fans and my electric bill was not any higher then before.

Installation was easy. Went in our 400 sq ft garage and keeps it toasty all the time. Much better than any of the regular heaters we have had out there.

Bought the 4000 watt Cadet to replace the old wall heater I had in the basement. This unit is a third the size of the old one and easily heats an 800 sf basement. I have not noticed any increase in my electric bill and it has a clean appearance. Based on reviews I read prior to purchase, I installed an on /off switch as part of the original install.
Yes, I recommend this product.

I just enclosed part of my shed with a suspended ceiling and no insulation on walls or ceiling. I was pleasantly surprised that this small heater heated the room of about 600 s.f., with temps outside below 40 degrees.

I installed the heater in a 20x20 room with a 10' ceiling. When it is in the low 50's outside and the room is 62° the heater will heat the room to 72° in a couple of hours. The heater doesn't run continuously for two hours (or it would heat the room in about 20 min) but it cycles on and off a few times. I think this is because the thermostat is built in. If you put in a wall thermostat it would fix that issue.
Yes, I recommend this product.

I got this unit for a add on room above my garage, about 260 sq. ft. Installation was easy, using a jigsaw to cut the opening. The only problem encountered was the themostat control opening on the grill didn't align properly with the control knob. I had to use a rotary grinder to enlarge the opening so the control knob would turn freely. Other than that, it's a great unit, keeps the room very comfortable with the thermostat set about 50%.
Yes, I recommend this product.

The heater was very easy to install. It was a replacement for a 35 year old electric heater I had in my office that quit working. I really like the way it heats and the blowers are awesome. I think that it would have no trouble heating the 600 sq. ft. they claim it will heat. The only thing that I don't like is that there is no way to totally shut the heater off. You can put the switch all the way over to the off position and if it gets cold enough it will still come on. The other older ones I have in the house have a positive off. Overall I really like this heater and I am going to buy a couple more of them to replace some of the older electric heaters I have in other rooms that have gone bad after 35 years.
Yes, I recommend this product.

II have a 10 x 12 non insulated shed that I installed the heater in. It’s more then enough heat. I have to keep the thermostat around 50% in order not to get too hot.
Con: I was not aware that even through you turn the thermostat all the way to the left (off position) and it clicks its still will turn on. I wish I would have know and put in a switch in around the heater instead of turning off the breaker every time.
Yes, I recommend this product.

I installed this unit in one of my rentals cottages.Mind you this 600 sq.ft. was costructed in the 1930's and is not that well insulated.I was skeptical when the unit arrived mostly because of its physical size , and its claim of 4000 watt output. I was extremely pleased with this product and its performance and would definitely recommend it.

hello all,
If you are looking for a heating unit that works superbly, is convenient, takes little to no wall space, and heats the area quickly and evenly, this is probably the product for you. It's easy to operate and is safe enough for children.
With the help of an electrician, this unit took about an hour to install.
I installed this unit into a 400ft addition that is coded as a three season room. Because of this device I now can enjoy this room all year long.
Yes, I recommend this product.

I bought a house with a detached guest house/studio unit, approximately 420 square feet. The guest house did not have a permanent heat source so when I found this small, cheap ($166), heater that says it heats 400sqft, I got very excited. We installed it on Saturday. The first part was pretty easy. Pick a spot one foot from the floor and at least one foot from any adjacent wall, cut the dry wall, and slide it in. The second part was a little tricky. I didn't notice that the Com-Pak Twin Plus is 240 volts and needs to be wired correctly in order to get the desired performance. So what we thought would be about an hour job turned into just over three, including drive time to and from Home Depot to get the necessary wiring supplies.
Now that it’s in and wired correctly, it looks very professional. It heats up the 420sqft guest house/studio unit in about 10-15 minutes. My tenant is very happy we got this installed when we did because next week we are looking at temperatures below 37° Fahrenheit.
Pros: excellent price $166, professional look, heats 400sqft easily, unit is quiet.
Cons: Your house may require wiring and a circuit breaker for this unit, which are additional costs. It might be cheaper & easier to get two smaller 120 volt units. Look into it.
Yes, I recommend this product.
