Customer reviews for 3 ft. 750-Watt 240 Volt Electric Baseboard Heater White

3 ft. 750-Watt 240 Volt Electric Baseboard Heater White

The Cadet Electric Baseboard heater utilizes convection to circulate air and provide efficient warmth. Typically installed under a window, the cool air falls from the window area as the warm air rises from the heater, causing the air to tumble gently throughout your room. The quiet operation and low cost installation make it a perfect choice for a bedroom or nursery. Rugged steel construction, with powder coated paint for a durable, premium finish. Installation is easy with a pre-punched case at 1 in. intervals, and wiring is available at either end. A thermostat is required.

I could not find this 3 foot base board heater at the local Home Depot so I was very glad to buy it on line. It works great with the cadet thermostat and keeps our laundry room very warm and comfortable.
Yes, I recommend this product.

Cadet electric baseboard heaters are the ONLY brand I use. I've tried other brands and they do NOT have the fit and finish nor are they as slim looking as the cadet.
Moreover, CADET is made in the USA. That in itself helps our counrty move forward.
Yes, I recommend this product.

I'm sticking it to the propane company by replacing the gas with energy sipping electric heaters. What's not to love about these heaters? Cadet makes a great product. Good quality, heavy duty steel, nice finish. Add a thermostat, and you have it. The propane company's $350 minimum puchase on the propane was running the tenants off. I can't get natural gas in the rural location, so I had to come up with a better way to heat. Now my propane is an emergency back up, to the little room heaters installed and running on 220v. I had to use the higher voltaqge to compensate for a 60 amp service panel. Higher voltage = less amp load. My total of 5 heaters uses less amperage than the central a/c unit.
So far, I am very pleased with it; winter 2011.
Yes, I recommend this product.

I was disappointed when this item arrived to find that I needed basic electrician's skills to install the heater. The description online didn't depict the equipment as needing additional installation to operate. I thought it plugged into an outlet!!!
No, I do not recommend this product.

Product works great and is easy to install... When ordering a thermostat for this unit make sure you are viewing the units page... The main baseboard heat page displays a thermostat that is for "hydronic" heat not electric heat... Very confusing...
Yes, I recommend this product.
