4,000-Watt Portable Electric Heater

Keep your workshop, garage, utility room or other work area warm and toasty for cold-weather projects using this Fahrenheat 4,000-Watt Portable Electric Heater. The built-in fan works with the heating elements to quickly and easily circulate heat across up to 400 sq. ft. A tip-over safety switch and non-slip base help provide safe use while you warm up. When the temperature improves, flip the fan-only switch and enjoy the ventilation.

I purchased radiant heaters to heat my insulated work shop first. They ran my bill up and were on all the time. I purchased this unit and wired it to an outlet that was controlled by a line voltage thermostat. It works great. It has two wattage settings. Normally I have it set to the low setting and keep the temp arround 50 degrees. When I am in the shop I set it on the higher setting and it raises the temp to 70 in just a few minutes. Built extremely sturdy. I am about to purchase another one for another space I need to heat.
Yes, I recommend this product.

This heater is the real deal. It heats my insulated two-car garage with ease. It's 220 volts, so it's also efficient. I typically leave the heater on about 1/4 of the way at all times in the winter and bump it up to about 1/2 while working on projects, etc. I have not noticed any difference in my electric bill. I'm quite happy with this purchase. Sure, it's not cheap, but you get a great value in the long run.
I've wasted much time and money in the past on portable heaters for my garage work shop. I've tried electric, propane and kerosene, which gives me a terrible headache. Propane is nice, but you typically only get about one workday per bottle of fuel, and that gets expensive and inconvenient.
If you're looking for workshop heat, look no further. This unit is built well and does what it should without disappointment.
FYI... You'll need a 220 volt outlet within 6 feet of the unit.
Yes, I recommend this product.
