It worked BUT...

I used this to cut a hole in a 12" x 12" Porcelain tile for a shower head. I started by using the silver center hole guide bit but it was taking forever to make progress and eventually the tile cracked. So I removed the center bit and just relied on the hole saw part. It worked BUT... it took about 30 mins using a drill press. I used a little bit of water during the cutting process. I don't think I would have been able to do this with a handheld drill on a PORCELAIN tile. I think they make diamond coated bits for porcelain. If you're going to cut into ceramic, I think this would work very well even with a handheld drill.

Great for ceramic, terrible on porcelain

No, I do not recommend this product.
Works very well on the ceramic tile that I tested it on and didn't work on the porcelain tile. The drill bit in the center didn't seem to be able to cut into the porcelain, but once you get to the hole saw, it works very quickly.
Good product, just not for how I used it. If you're going to ever cut porcelain, get one that is made for porcelain, not this one
