Since this is a metal mailbox (rather than plastic) I was able to order a decorative magnetic cover for it for a fun look which my mailman also complemented me on. It has a good latch, is a little bigger than normal, and I believe it will stand up to the weather changes.

When our home was built, the same mailbox in black was installed. I knew that I wanted to switch it out for a bronze mailbox once we got settled, but thought I would have to spend a small fortune. I was so happy to find the same quality, inexpensive mailbox offered in this color on the website (I could not find this color in any of my local stores). Our home is tan with dark brown shutters with oil rubbed bronze hardware, and this mailbox with its matte, deep chocolate finish matches beautifully. I also noticed many of the much more expensive bronze mailboxes offered on the site had sub-par reviews, so save your money, and choose this one!

Nice color, easy to install, super buy for the price.! We needed a new flag for our old mailbox and this was cheaper than a new flag mount and much easier too!
