I was going to redo my kitchen cabinets with another product until I read the recommendacions por this one. This product is excellent! My cabinets came out looking like new. It is easy to apply, to clean out, and dries fast. It gives a satin finish with no roller marks. I used the recommended roller; it was worth the $$. I lightly sanded my cabinets, cleaned them with TSP, rinse with a damp cloth, and I was ready to paint as soon as they dried. I gave the cabinets two coats of paint. Very happy with the end result.
Pros: Very Adhesive, High Quality of Material, Easy to Use, Good Protection, Looks Great, Modern, Dries Quickly, Even Application, Easy to Apply, Good Coverage, Easy to Clean, Looks High End
Cabinet rescue paint is a great product, and well worth the “premium” price. Actually the worst investment you can make is cheap paint. Before I get into the specifics remember surface prep is always at least 50% of a professional paint job. When I finished my kitchen tray ceiling project with bright white led strip lighting in the tray I was surprised to see the factory “plastic ” finish was randomly off-shade for about half of the cabinet doors, and only obvious with the new led lighting. Most likely the result of the complete delivered cabinet ensemble coming from two factory batches, and I was told by a cabinet man the factory surface could not be painted. This paint did the job and the mix of painted and original surfaces can not distinguished unless a very critical eye with a magnifying class is looking for any variation in surface finish. You cant ask for more than that from any paint. Here are a few tips when using this particular paint. Get a color match from existing cabinet door/drawer if matching. The home depot match was spot on, eliminating the need to paint the lighter factory “batch” doors. Remember two thinner coats are always better than one from the can. If any way possible, remove drawers and doors for light sanding and cleaning and paint them lying flat so you can better “flow and feather” the paint with a high quality 2” thin angle sash brush and eliminate runs. A shop mate worktable is perfect here. IMPORTANT: this paint tacks-up really fast so after trying on a small drawer I realized I would have to thin the paint (1oz water initially) to get the proper paint flow. You may have to thin again after the can sets open for a while. You can handle the finished work after a few hours dry time, but I recommend an over night set before reinstalling doors and drawers. This product saved my you-know-what as replacement doors are no longer available. See pix.
Pros: Even Application, Easy to Apply, Easy Instructions, Good Coverage, Easy to Clean, Easy to Use, Good Protection, Looks Great, Looks High End, Dries Quickly
Cabinet Rescue goes on beautifully and covers very well, too. We had it tinted Pewter Gray at Home Depot, to compliment the white replacement door and drawer fronts we had purchased for our out dated kitchen cabinets. My only regret is that we did not save the original door and drawer fronts and paint them, as well. It would have saved a lot of work and money. However, I love the new look of my kitchen! Cabinet Rescue is an excellent product! Our next project is to apply it to the old vanities in our bathrooms.

This is expensive, but once you prep well the surface, the overall results will be remarkable. One of the best paints i ever used for cabinet finishing. I have tried all and this one is by far the best eventhough the price is high. You will get a satin velvet type of finish equal to sprayed new cabinet finish. Use a nice brush or high density roller, it is that easy!
Pros: High Quality of Material, Easy to Apply, Good Coverage, Easy to Clean, Easy to Use, Looks High End, Dries Quickly
I was scared off by the price, but someone in Home Depot told me it was a "must try". I have been doing kitchen cupboard painting and cabinets for many years. This is by far the best product I have ever used and will NEVER again use a different product. This can be tinted to any color you want. It also goes directly onto slippery surfaces with no prep work. Made my cheap bathroom formica cabinets look fantastic!

I prepped the cabinet...washed and sanded...used a soft bristle brush and the best rated roller and it look horrible....first coat went on ok, but noticed after dry it crackled...second coat was even worse...will have to sand and try a third....no other product I've used has ever done this...looks great wet but not dry. Glad I tried it on a bathroom cabinet and not the kitchen....
