The shower kept getting clogged, and finally it started leaking into the downstairs. No one seemed to be listening to my admonishments to clear their hair out of the shower drain, so installing this to catch it for them was a great alternative. Now they got to see the great big clumps of hair, (which they didn't believe existed) in the drain, and can reach down, pick it up, and dispose of themselves, or have Dad yell at them on a regular basis.
Pros: Reliable, Easy to Install, Good Instructions

I bought this product because I needed something to catch my hair. I have long blonde hair, and it sheds like many others with long hair. I loved how well this product caught EVERYTHING, but it does not stay in place well. The hole that allows you to put a screw to attach to the tub drain is not big enough to hold a screw that is long enough to reach the place in which it needs to screw into. The holes are small enough to catch everything, but that also includes soap lather, etc. so it can cause the water to backup a little. If you have low water pressure this should be fine. I had mine for a year and it was fine, but I think I will try something new. I am not going to say it is bad, but I am not going to say it is the best product.

I have bought every drain for the bathtub that is on the market. Your sales associate showed this one to me and told he to just pull the tabs and put it in the tub. The product does not move when the water hits it, the hair collects perfectly. I have bought several other drains and this one works wonderful!!!

I only use the clips to hold it in. For the most part it stays in fine. It catches most things like hair, etc.

Small, light, and very effective. Now, if only it were stocked in the stores and not available only by mail....
