1-Gal Original Waterproofing Sealer
The Seal-Krete 1-Gal. Waterproofing Sealer protects vertical concrete and masonry against the damaging effects of moisture penetration. It penetrates deeply into the pores of concrete, binding sand and cement particles to form a tough, flexible, breathable film. Excellent for binding chalky surfaces to improve paint adhesion on all painted and unpainted substrates including concrete, block, stucco, aluminum siding, drywall and plaster.

Product is very thin allowing flood coating to soak in well which was needed for this application. A previous "surface coat" had failed within two years.

Sealing Concrete & Color on Simulated Brick

I was looking for a product that would seal the concrete and color on simulated brick that would not take the chaulky like coloring that had been applied to the top surface of the concrete. An associate at Home Depot showed me Seal Krete and it seemed to fit the criteria. I tried It and it worked great! Just as the product described. It also helped rejuvinate the color. It is a watery thin sealer and messy to use, so a tip, you need to wear old cloths and cover any thing you don't wnat to get the sealer on. I would suggest a brush for small areas and a roller or sprayer for large areas. You can actually see this stuff soaking into the concrete and see, as well as feel, the difference once its dry. Great product and you can paint or stain over this product after it has dried properly.

This is an excellent product for sealing vertical concrete walls that are aging and powdery. It also created a good surface for painting.

The mortar around my brick home was deteriorating badly so this product was recommended, I applied 2 flood coats and it is now hard as a rock and has saved me a fortune now that I don't have to replace the mortar

i used as a paver sealer, works fine. swept sand into joins and spraied sealer with a 4 gal pump sprayer. did this to prevent weeds from coming through cracks. and the online price was about $10 cheaper than stores including shipping!

This sealer works as advertised. Made my customers all brick home look new again. We just shook the bucket a bit, poured it in the sprayer and gave the place two coats as directed. It brought out the depth and color of the brick, and the neighbors are impressed too. Being the only exterior water based product I like and the price is right, you have to try it for yourself, it's great!

My brick house faces south and is in direct sunlight all day. When the sun goes down, you can feel the heat radiating off of it big time. Even though the walls are insulated, this absorption of UV energy also bleeds through into the house. After putting a couple of coats on, the brick does not absorb as much energy and as a result, the house stays a cooler. I was acutually surprised at how much this has had an effect
