The Flotec Pressure Switch can be used with submersible pumps or as a replacement switch. The switch turns on at 40 psi and off at 60 psi. And can be adjusted to 30/50 or 20/40 psi.

Easily installs as direct replacement to existing pressure switch on whole house well pump. Has feature to adjust the cut in and cut out, however 40-60 was where I need mine at, so I did not change it. Restores the water pressure to past performance.......the old switch had not completely failed yet, but the pressure was varying from 20-60psi and the kitchen faucet and garden hoses were just about worthless. The cut in and out pressure works so uniformly now, the pressure is consistent just like city water pressure.
Yes, I recommend this product.

Switch was well packaged and fittings were in separate plastic bag for either type of tube fittings. Was constructed very well and electrical wiring connectors were easy to wire up. There are two ground screws for auxiliary equipment needing to be switched on with the pump ( ie:chlorinator). The cover mounts tightly and wire tubing connects to standard EMT 1/2" openings. The adjuster springs for on/off settings still must be adjusted with the power off as shorting is possible with wrench near terminals, however there is a small ridge of plastic that offers more protection than many other switches. Directions were easy to follow and adjustment springs were lubricated for easy settings.
Yes, I recommend this product.

I guess I don't have much to compare this with, I'm sure there are better units out there somewhere, but likewise there are probably worse also. This is a simple proven design which hasn't changed much over the years, and works well. No problems here for me.
