We bought these for a Christmas craft in which we drilled holes to put lights in. The drill bit dulled after only 14 blocks (we're doing a total of 80) - and it's no cake walk. The quality is great, just a bit challenging for what we wanted to do.

I love these tiles for something other than their purpose. I make Christmas gifts with them. If you use a drill bit for glass and drill a hole large enough to put in a single string of Christmas lights, then wrap it with wide ribbon and put a big beautiful bow on the top they make great centerpcs. Some people put them on their porch with other decorations. It looks like a lighted wrapped gift. Everyone in my family, and friends have loved them.

I bought these blocks to turn them into house decorations and gifts for others by drilling a hole in the side and putting Christmas lights inside and decorating the outside with ribbons and such.
But as a shower wall, they are outstanding. Lots of privacy, but lots of light as well.

These glass blocks can be used in so many ways!!Beautiful for shower walls, in your garden(use in place of woods posts, drill hole inside, and push Christmas lights inside,and wrap block w/ decorative ribbon for any season and display one flat and another standing on it's side,or same idea-use as night lights-, Use as decorative tray on table with 4 knobs as feet to lift up!!!

They are very easy to install and add a beautiful touch! We replaced one of my daughter's windows with this when we enclosed our porch. It let's just enough light in. If you buy the kit that they sell, installation is a breeze!
