Love this coffeemaker. It was very hard to find a 12 cup thermal coffeemaker, but I am not dissapointed. Makes a great coffee, and keeps it hot for several hours.

THIS IS A GREAT COFFEE MAKER. I WISH IT HAD A LIGHT ON THE DISPLAY FOR EASIER SETTING THE AUTOMATIC SETTING. THE COFFEE IS STILL WARM ENOUGH TO DRINK WHEN I GET HOME FROM WORK. BUY THIS MACHING --YOU WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED!

A Few Caveats

This coffeemaker brews a good cup of coffee and the thermal caraffe is the true reason we wanted one but we had failed to notice that it is about 6" taller than all of our previous makers and made the assumption that the LCD readout would be large enough and backlit enough to read the am/pm and auto brew indicators. However, the size of the LCD font and nonlit screen makes it necessary to put on glasses, pull the maker closer, bend down to the LCD level, then fiddle with the kitchen lighting to prevent glares...and we finally had to resort to keeping a magnifying glass near the maker to confirm whether the programmable auto brew is correctly set to am or pm and whether the "auto" on lcd readout is actually showing in the upper rt corner which is a lot of darn trouble to go thru on a daily or twice daily basis. The clock numbers are mostly readable size but the pm is readable whether it is pm or not...it is just a hair darker if it is truly set for pm...reminds us of the first lcd cheapo watches back in 1980 or so.
Also, the top doesn't fit snuggly over the water reservoir which allows some steam to escape upwards towards our undercounter lighting fixtures and the wooden cabinets above so we are not convinced that having the thermal caraffe justifies either the cost of this model, the rearranging made necessary or the sudden need to use a magnifying glass for persons who don't usually need any glasses at all.

I BOUGHT THIS COFFEE MAKER FOR OUR VACATION HOUSE AND ARE THRILLED WITH THE CARAFE. WE CAN MAKE A POT OF COFFEE IN THE MORNING, TAKE IT TO THE BEACH AND HAVE HOT COFFEE AT 4 P.M. THIS IS THE BEST POT WE HAVE EVER HAD IN OVER 40 YEARS OF MARRIAGE!! I AM BUYING TWO MORE, ONE FOR GIFT AND ONE FOR PRIMARY RESIDENCE!

I have only owned it a week but so far so good. Have had no issues with the machine. The coffee stays hot for hours. I am in the US Army and go to work at 0430 every day and make a pot before I go, it stays hot long into the afternoon so when my wife wakes she can have a hot cup unlike the auto turn off models.
Only bad thing is the price, but as I say you get what you pay for.

After researching coffee pots, actually trying to find a stainless steel carafe that my husband I wouldn't break. I found this one. Reading so many conflicting reviews I wasn't sure I had purchased a winner. Well, it is! It brews just fine and it keeps the coffee amazingly hot.
A few tips...you do need to make sure the lid is screwed on carefully and correctly. I rinse out the lid and filter basket each time. There are little plastic balls in it and you don't want them getting clogged.
The only thing I would like improved it the pouring rate. It could pour with a bit more power. I solve this by unscrewing the lid, if I'm a bit impatient.
Love this coffee pot! Definitely recommend especially if you break carafes as much as we did!

We are very selective about our coffe and have been searching for the perfect coffee maker. After purchasing a few different brands with unsatisfactory results I started researching through Consumer Reports and asking family and friends their opinions. My daughter always seemed to brew the perfect cup of coffee and I realized that her Cuisinart was exactly what I was looking for. I've had mine for 2 weeks and can honestly say it is perfect. The thermal caraff keeps each brew fresh tasting and hot throughout the day keeping waste at "0". Once the coffee has brewed the machine shuts off automatically leaving less to worry about. Clean up is a breeze and all the controls are easy to use. I would recommend this product highly.

Well me and the wife did alot of searching for a good coffee pot and we might of finally found one , We've had this one for about a week now , Zero issues , Brews fast , minimun noise , no leaks , coffee is a great drinking temp. , stays hot for a longtime , (do preheat the pot with hot water like recommened it works ) .. Sitting here enjoying a cup as I write this .
Well so far it's a gr8 product , oh yea shipping was good too came well packaged and fairly quick like 4 days ..
I'll update this post if any issues araise but as of now , buy this maker .

This Is the greatest coffee maker I have ever owned . It has a timer that will shut the coffee maker off when done and It'll keep the coffee hot for hours In the thermos like carafe . I accidentally set the timer for 4:00 am .I was scheduled to to get up at 7:00 am .I was surprised to see the coffee was still hot .The coffee maker doesn't stay on for hours cooking the coffee .It stays hot In the Thermos like carafe . For me It's worth the money and It savers energy .

Nice coffee maker. Coffee is much hotter out of the carafe than others of this type that I have had.
Keeps it hot longer, too. The "cup" size is also a true cup, unlike some that make 6 oz. cups and claim 12 cup capacity.

I bought this coffee maker to replace my old Black & Decker. After reading all the great reviews for this machine, I decided to go ahead and spend more on this one. I hated it! The brew pause feature did not work. Even after the completed brew cycle tone sounds, the coffee maker continues to drip if you remove the carafe. While the coffee was piping hot, it was almost too hot. It made a really bitter cup of coffee. I tried different brands of coffee, and adjusted the measurements, but it was still awful. Now I wish I hadn't gotten rid of the old one :( !

I did not think I could replace my glass lined Krups, but I did and this one is even better. I have had it for 3 months and it has worked great, the best part is that the coffee stays really hot for hours.

I bought this for a gift for my husband and we are both very pleased. We especially like the feature of the beeping when the coffee is done brewing and find that the coffee stays hot for a long period of time. They only thing that I don't care for about this product is the inability to clean inside the carafe better.

I am very pleased with this coffee maker. It makes great coffee and it was kept hot overnight! I was pleasantly surprised Coffee brewed quickly and I really like the beeper that goes off to notify you that the process is done. The timer worked very well. The only thing is the clock is very hard to see. Would be better if it would light up. But, overall it is an excellent product.

This Coffee Maker is Great, Looks Sharp, Made Well, Easy to Maintain, The Stainless Steel Pot Keeps Coffee Hot For Hours Longer Than Glass Pots do. and There is No Burner Under The Pot, Wasting Electricity. The Pot is Sturdy Not Like Glass ones That Tend to Break and The Lid Screws On and Lines Up Perfect To The Spout Every Time. I Highly Recomend This Coffee Maker Too All.
