Easy to put together. I was looking for one in the stores but they all had the extra newspaper storage underneath, which I did not care to have. Just what I was wanting and shipping was fast.

Was looking for Modern Box to replace old style that sat on top of a broken post above the arm. All I had to do was make 4 cuts with my circular saw 24" up from the bottom and slide the new box down over it. Just wish it would have been one piece.

It's a great sturdy mailbox, most people in my neighborhood have the exact one. The only small thing I was dissapointed about is I thought it came with a post because no where in the advertisement online does it say post not included. Otherwise I recommend it.

This mailbox was purchased to replace another Step2 mailbox that survived an attack from neighborhood kids, but did not survive being run over by a car. The original mailbox was a little roomier, and was a single unit; this mailbox has a separate upper and lower section that are attached by screws and therefore might not be as resilient, but time will tell. I still think it is a good value, and is more durable than conventional mailboxes.

My previous Step 2 mailbox was much larger and was destroyed by a car hitting it. I'm very satisfied with the brand but extremely disappointed at the size.

Easy to install over existing mailbox post. The 4"x4" dimensions specified in the on-line information are really 3.5"x3.5". That said instructions were clear and easy to follow the step-by-step process.

Durable, sturdy mailbox that holds just mail, exactly what I was looking for. Withstands heavy winds and rain, and stil looks good after taking a beating.

The mailbox was easy to assemble and worked well. The only concern that I had was that the two front bolts, that attach the mailbox to the 4X4 post, could have been longer.

I sure wish I had thought to check out Home Depot's site before I spent so much time looking for this particular type of mailbox. I needed one that was sturdy, dependable, and had an additional back entry so it could be installed through a wrought iron fence, which is what I found with this mailbox. And, I got the best price. Thank you Home Depot!
