52 In. Ponte Vecchio Natural Iron Finish Ceiling Fan
The 52 In. Ponte Vecchio in Natural Iron finish features a 4 light style light kit with Aged Scavo glass and uses 4 x 60 watt bulbs, included. The Ponte Vecchio also features an uplight that uses 4 x 15 watt candelabra bulbs, included. The 5 blades are reversible in Pitted Elm and Elm with a 13.5 degree pitch. The powerful 188 x 20mm motor is operated by a full function hand held remote control with separate up and down light controls. The fan has a multi capacitor, 3-speed reversible control for quiet operation and comes with a Limited Lifetime Warranty.

"I am on my second fan in 5 months. Each time I have to pay an electrician to put it up, and then to take it down. The motors start buzzing. The first one went within a week. The second one took 5 months. I turned it on today and at any speed but low it buzzes. I again will have to pay an electrician to come take it down."

"When I found this fan on the website I thought it was a little pricey; but I fell in love with it. I thought it would be perfect for a newly decorated living room. It is more than perfect. It is absolutely gourgeous. I love the lighting options and the remote. It replace our exsisting "dated" fan with no installation problems. Well worht the money."

"I love this ceiling fan that we asked our builder to put in our great room, with the high ceilings. It is very quiet and the remote makes it easier to operate. The top light is a nice touch that we keep on as a night light for our girls whose bedrooms are all on the second floor. It truly compliments our new home."

"I bought this fan online and am returning it. It looks beautiful, but I tried to replace the uplight bulbs before I installed it and could not get them out. I called the support phone number and they told me that I either needed to buy a special tool to open the small openings at the top of the fan or take the top of the fan off. I could not get the top of the fan off even when it was still on the ground. If they ever burn out, they will not be replaceable. The bottom four lights are also candelabra bulbs and I would prefer larger bulbs. I asked them if I could use CFL bulbs and they said CFL bulbs will not work with this fan. Regular bulbs are supposed to be phased out by 2014, so if I kept the fan longer than 5 years, I will have problems."

Beautiful fan but not an easy task to install,

"The fan is beautiful, that much I can say. Installation was not so pretty. It started off with no directions in the box, so they had to be downloaded from Home Depot web site and printed out. Even with directions and experienced ceiling fan installer, it wasnt as easy as we had hoped. This fan cannot be installed flush mount and you must either use a 4" or 6" down rod. Make sure your ceiling has the height for this. The fan will also not operate without using the remote control and we could not test it out right away as we had to go and purchase the battery for the remote. The uplight is not as bright as I had hoped but pretty just the same. Very nice styling to this fan and looks wonderful once you get through the installation process."

"Beautiful fan. We love the Victorian look which fits in with our 1915 home. Quiet and very stable even on high speed. The "up " light is a very nice touch and make the unit even more worth the money. We love the fan!!"

"I love this fan! I bought it about 5 months ago, and I can't take my eyes off of it. It's very quiet. The decrative light on the top really makes the fan stand out. It puts out a great breeze. You won't be disapointed."

"Wow!A beautiful and rich looking fan. Very quiet.Remote control works well any place in the room,even though we had to buy a special 12 volt battery,it was not included.Easy to assemble.I own several of this brand of fans and have had them all 10+years each with not one problem.Well made"

"The picture does not do the fan justice! It is absolutely beautiful! One note on the installation, you need a larger junction box when installing this fan as the remote control adaptor needs to be up in the ceiling. Without the remote control, you can not turn on the light, adjust fan speed, etc. But the extra work is well worth it as this fan makes a wonderful addition to any room you install i"

"I have had this fan for about 3 months now. I love it!! With all of the lighting options and ease of use, you can't beat it. It puts out plenty of light as well, other fans were too dim. The illuminating features are great for entertaining. I would totally recommend this fan to anyone, it's georgeous!"
