Dawson 54 in. Weathered Copper Ceiling Fan

The Hampton Bay Dawson 54 in. Weathered Copper Ceiling Fan features a more traditional design with a copper housing finish and gas lantern piping along the blade arms complementing the reversible blades in cherry and oak. A single bowl-style light cover houses 2 energy efficient CFL bulbs included for installation. A convenient remote allows you to adjust the fan settings from a distance for greater comfort and ease. The fan is designed for large indoor spaces up to 20 ft. x 20 ft.

We are extremely happy with this fan. Love that it has a remote and was pretty easy to install. We wish it didn't hang down as far but we knew it would going in.

This fan operates very smoothly and quietly. It seems to be a good product. I have had several Hampton Bay fans in a similar line and have always been satisfied.
Using the small down rod, the installation of this fan was a little difficult. There wasn't much room to work with the small down rod.
The use of CFL bulbs is a little disappointing. When the fan is turned on by the wall switch, the bulbs are dim and brighten to full over several minutes. If I leave the power on at the wall switch and use the remote to toggle the lights, the bulbs start at full brightness.

Outstanding fan, well built solid motor. Runs very quite. Assembly was easy. Wiring instructions in the dime store pamplet called instruction booklet did not show how to wire for two switch controls on wall. Ended up calling electrician. If you want the remote only it is fine as is. I don;t think you can have both remote and wall switch install. It is either or.

This fan is beautiful and is exactly what I was looking for! The only complaint that I have is that the remote should have came batteries included. When installing the fan we would have like to have been able to start it up right away not have to go out to the store and buy batteries to be able to see whether or not it would run and what it would look like on. FYI they are not they are your regular run of the mill batteries either so purchase them with the fan even though it does not say so on the box. For the price of the fan, they should have been included!!

Love the rich look of this fan! It is very quite and cools down the room quickly.
Be sure not to have a dimmer to run the fan or lights since my remote would not work on the dimmer switch although it was an easy fix.
Overall well worth the price.

Beautiful fan! Looked nice in picture but even better in person. Easy to install. Gives enough light without being too bright. The remote is a better quality than less expensive fans I own. LOVE the blade holders! Makes it look like a more expensive fixture. We love the look and the quiet operation of the fan. FAST shipping also. Told 5 to 7 days at store when ordered but had it in 2 days.Well worth the cost.

Love, love, love this fan! Although I haven't used the fan feature yet (it's not the season), I really love the look of the fan. I've never seen such attention to architectural detail on a ceiling fan. It is a beautiful finish with a hint of copper. The fan is versatile enough to fit in with traditional decor, or contemporary. Highly recommend!

This fan is whisper quiet and has NO wobble to it! It was super easy to install and works wonderful. I really enjoy the remote control operation. It is worth every penny and i would highly recomend this product to anyone wanting a really good ceiling fan! This fan does it's job and then some.

Easy to install and great features! I have owned this brand in the past and we just moved into our new home and we plan on installing this fan throughout the home! We have put in one, so far! The unit was easy to install(took less then 3 hours, and no missing fingers or extra parts when finished)and, it took just two people for one part! One person can do most of the work and then when lifting and hanging the motor it is best to have two. Make sure you buy the right kind of hanger and the battery for the remote before coming home. I used a 4" circular hole and placed the safety brace through that hole, and tightened it up! Who-La! This fan comes with lights(CFLs) and the remote! We love it, and the motor is super quite! I can't wait to get the other rooms installed! I would recommend this fan to everyone and anyone! Thanks HOME DEPOT for the great products!

I purchased this fan for my formal living room. The space originally did not have a fan or even lights in the ceiling. We added four (4) canister lights in the corners and this fan in the center of the room. I have some dark peices of furniture and the trim in the house is dark stained wood. The fan looks amazing.

Bought this fan for our master bedroom, it is a beautiful, well made fan with great details. The only complaint I have is that it has the same remote (with the same frequency) as the fan we put in the living room, other than that, it is absolutely perfect!

I looked long and hard for the perfect fan to go with the dark wood decor I have in my house and this fan not only looks amazing, it is so quiet. It puts off an excellent amount of wind and is extremely comfortable to sit under. I have a very large family room with 10 foot ceilings and it makes a noticable difference in the temperature of the room. I live in a very warm area of California and needed something to help keep the air conditioning costs down. If you are looking for a very pretty, quiet, efficient fan, this is the one for you. I am very pleased with my purchase.
