I wish these batteries were available in the Home Depot store, but it was very simple to order them online, get them shipped quickly, and put them to good use. The batteries themselves are great, last a long time, and provide significant power for my cordless drill.

I bought a pair of the 9.6 volt replacement battery packs and when they arrived at my door, I was shocked to see that they were smaller than my last pair of replacements. (The previous replacements I’d bought were the same size as the originals.) "OK, so they're smaller, let's see how well they work." Well, I'm a light duty user (I only use them at Ohm) and my old battery packs would run for days, even weeks without having to pop one into the charger. I found it revolting that the newer, smaller ones started to sag in about a day of light use. (My wife’s told me that I need to lose some weight so maybe all the walking back and forth to the charger station won’t be all that bad in the long run.) First it was the shrinking tuna fish can, then “16 slices” of cheese, then the half-a-bar of soap and now, the battery packs. So, when I buy that 12” double-bevel sliding compound miter saw that I’ve been dreaming about, will there be a 10” inside when I open the box?

Have used these Dewalt Batteries for several years.They Seem to have better recharging Power than the ones that came with the drill originally. Have used them every week for Three years.No Problem, Even Living in Florida,work-
