"I love this machine. No problems with tension or breakage of thread. Lightweight. I take it to school with me--in my backpack! I pieced quilt tops with it and taught a friend to sew with it. I've even bought two more and gave them away as gifts. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because there is no light and it is a bit slow. But, I use it at my kitchen table while I watch tv. If it went to0 fast I'd have to pay more attention to the sewing! As for the light, I use a small lamp next to it."

"This little machine has everything you need for the basics, and is light-weight and small, making storage and travel a cinch. It is simple to thread, use and put away. The quality is much better than the little craft sewing machines you normally find. It is all I expected."

"When I first ordered this product I was bit skeptical on how the performance will be. So when it arrived I tried sewing hems on my light pants, and to my surprise it actiually worked. I was so astonished by its functions. Then I tried hemming my curtains at my home and it still kept up with my satisfaction. Indeed this is a geart sewing companion anyone can have. It's very handy and it's light to carry around. I'm glad I made the order."

"this machine is the perfect answer to my sewing needs. it is lightweight and easy to handle anywhere. i travel alot and the compact size is great. i recommend this product for all. even my 15 year old son uses it to sew on his band patches."

"This machine is compact but can do the work of a bigger machine. It is perfect for my teenage daughter to do her crafts on . She had a different machine that just wouldn't do what she wanted it to do but she really likes this machine. She has offered to do some things for her school that need to be sewn"

"The sewing machine performs very well for its compact size. It can complete numerous tasks with ease. It has several different stitch settings that come in handy. This is a very high quality sewing machine and is great for beginners and even experienced sewers. To top it off its under $60. Great buy."

"Janome Sew Mini,
This is great little sewing machine, sews nicely and sews over straight pins with ease. It is so lightweight that you can throw it in a bag and go. This machine would be perfect for paper piecing. I sewed a dress from start to finish on the sew mini with nice results.
Janome could have made this machine just a little bit better by adding a built in light, marking the throat plate with seam allowance markings and a thread cutter."

This product works fantastically and I told my friends about this great deal and they rushed in to buy one!
