This product along with all Hunter fans is great. We picked this one because it is the original design and fits great in our remodeled home. Only one problem if you want a light kit on it, there is only one that fits it. The fan will only take the school house style light kit.

Classic design and looks are great but this fan BLOWS SOME AIR and I hate nothing worse than putting up a cheap(er) fan and then you stand below it and feel nothing. I use these classic Hunter's inside and outside (in partially protected ares) and even though I know they will not last forever outside in the weather, it is worth it to be able to feel the breeze on a hot Texas summer day. Treat yourself and buy a Hunter Original old fashioned fan. (I don't usually write reviews but since they asked and I obviously feel strongly about it, here it is.)

This is the second Antique Ceiling Fan we have purchased - one for the old home and now one for our new home. We love the way it looks - its style looks so heavy duty - we know this brand will last for every . . .

Hunter makes a great product, and this was no exception. The instructions were concise, and even listed minimum tools needed.
All hardware for the fan installation were included. It took me about one hour to install the fan. As in the past, it was unnecessary for me to have to balance the fan. (I have 2 other Hunter fans)
