I had a dilemma finding an appropriate solution for covering the full length glass on our steel French doors without drilling into the door. As a DIYer and someone who loves decorating, I decided to make Roman shades to match my other kitchen valances but couldn't find magnetic hooks that were strong enough so I decided to try Command hooks. I measured the distance between the eye hooks on the shade, attached the Command hooks to the door frame and slipped the shade eye hooks over the commance hooks. The 3lb weight worked perfectly and the shades are raised and lowered daily. I did add a separate valance on a magnetic rod above the shades to conceal the plastic hooks. This was a lot cheaper solution than buying the expensive magnetic blinds for the doors and the fabric I used co-ordinates with the rest of my kitchen.
Pros: Durable, Easy to Assemble, Functional, Excellent Quality, Great Instructions, Sturdy, Good Size & Weight

my wife swears by these things...I must say i was surprised, when she started buying them years ago, at how good they really work. They are incredibly strong and when you need to remove them, just pull the tab and they come right off.

I originally didn't believe these hooks & adhesive would hold up in the shower... but I've been using these for about a year (2 to 3 lbs). Have yet to fail.
