By placing the motor inside the fridge it gives the back of the fridge a flat surface. By doing so it reduces the amount of storage space inside the fridge. The teeny freezer takes up space but doesn't keep things frozen. The back of the fridge is open, exposing the motor and wiring. It should have a fenestrated covering but doesn't come with one. The fridge is a disappointment for those reasons but so far it has kept a cold temperature and that is its one positive feature.

This refrigerator is light and compact. It gets cold fast and really gives things a nice chill before they go in my cooler. I travel around a lot fishing tournaments and didn't want to have to keep buying ice everyday. It is great to transport from campsite to campsite.

great little fridge, only beef is it only will hold about 12 bottles but lots of cans. I wanted something to fit the space I had in the cave.

Keeps drinks and food cold.....that's okay.
But when you put ice cream in it turns soft...yucky. No matter how small the container is...it just won't keep ice cream frozen.
Freezes yogurt fine. Freezes fruit cups. BUT IT WON'T KEEP ICE CREAM FROZEN.
For what it does, the price is too high. If I needed a refrigerator to keep sodas cold I'd buy this Magic Chef only if the price was in the 50 dollar range.
It's very attractive, doesn't hurt the decor of the room....JUST WON'T KEEP ICE CREAM FROZEN.

Great quality for the price but really does not have a freezer. It says it does but a half pint of ice cream does not fit into.

The product arrived within a couple of days with no damage to the shipping container. The product was easy to set-up and begin use right away. The product fits my needs very well. I needed a small refrigerator in the bed room in which to store insulin and to provide easy access to meds. The product is just what I needed.

This little refridgerator does exactly what we wanted it to do...keep items cold while taking up little space. Its very quiet, and does not get in the way. I plugged it in and slid it under a counter and it's been doing what it's supposed to do. The End.

The compact refrigerator was delivered and was very easy to set up. We were able to hide it in a small stand-alone armoire with front doors that had been used for a TV so the back was removed. Thus, this small, convenient refrigerator can be hidden from view if desired.

I bought this refrigerator for a college dorm room for its size but it never worked right from the start. The temperature control knob was stuck at 5. We eventually forced it up to 6 so it would freeze things in the freezer box and there was a popping a flash of light. This happened again as we attempted to turn the knob back down and whenever it reached around 5. Then we decided to leave it alone because it was working well enough to keep things cool. But eventually we were trying to freeze things and wanted to turn the knob up to 6 to get stuff to freeze. This time the same thing happened again plus it tripped the circuit breaker and broke the fridge. We tried plugging it into a different outlet and it tripped that one too. And still didn't work. And the warranty doesn't really cover repair only a refund which requires a receipt as well as cutting the plug off of the machine.

I ordered this fridge as a Christmas present for my grandson who wanted his own personal snack source. Delivery time was excellent; I received the fridge two days before expected delivery and in plenty of time for the holiday.
The fridge is small, as expected, but adequate for its intended purpose. It keeps drinks cold; frozen treats stay frozen. The only complaint my grandson has had is that door space is too short for a 500ml soft drink bottle to stand completely upright. There is space for one 2-liter bottle, but the remaining space is short. Canned drinks fit fine. There is a small area on the door which can hold jellies, candy bars, etc.
There is some noise from the fridge nomal operation, but I do not find it to be excessive or obtrusive. It just becomes background white noise when everything else is quiet in the room. For a teenager who always has the tv, computer, music or telephone going, it doesn't exist.
We did have some difficulty trying to reverse the door hinges; the screws were really tight. We finally gave up and decided to place the fridge on the right side of his desk instead of the left. If door opening direction is important, that may be an issue for you. I don't think it's a product defect as much as the fact that we were really novices at that.
Overall, we are satisfied and feel that we got good value for our money.

We own a 5 room bed and breakfast inn and wanted to upgrade our rooms by adding TV's ,refrigeators and microwaves. The 1.6 cu ft was just the right size. We bought the microwave units at Home Depot also.
