"WE BOUGHT THIS HEATER FOR OUR SUNROOM. I TURN IT ON IN THE MORNING AND WITHIN AN HOUR ITS WARMED UP,I CAN EVEN OPEN UP THE FRENCH DOORS THAT LEAD INTO OUR LIVING ROOM. BOTH ROOMS STAY WARM AND THE FURNACE DOESN'T COME ON AT ALL. SAVES LOTS. I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS HEATER TO ANYONE!"

Safety Is The Key,

"I purchased the 30" tall digital ceramic pedestal heater for my mother who is 78 years old. What attracted me to the product is the safety features! This heater will not start a fire if the product was to fall because no heat is on the outside. It's maintained inside the ceramic which is protected. Another attraction is the remote control. My mom has a hard time getting out of bed. With the remote at her finger tips, she has complete control of her heater. Excellent ideal! Excellent product!"

"This works GREAT in small rooms. For a larger space you need to be in close proximity.
This is the 2nd one we've bought. The first one lasted 3 years. We decided that at its moderate price that it was worth another 3 year go instead of putting out money for a higher priced model that might die as soon or sooner.
We felt we got our money's worth and feel that way again so far this time."

"My boyfriend and I bought this heater to warm up our room and the room next to ours for our ferrets we put it in the middle of both the rooms its heats up both them in less then an hour, and it keeps the rooms warm!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It puts out a lot of heat, so if thats what your looking for then this is the heater to get!!!!!"

"my wife and i recently purchased a 5350 for her office which is located in our basement. the starting temp was 54 degrees.we now hold a constant temp of 68 degrees that feels like 80.it is so warm now that the heat going up the stairs actually is warming the whole house ! WE LOVE THIS LASKO HEATER ! we highly recomend this unit."

"We bought this unit for my sister & brother in law. They live on the Oregon Coast and the wind has an awful chill to it. They are living in a converted school bus and as you can guess, there is not a lot of room for a heater. When I saw that it was tall and all the features, I was sold on it. It arrived on Jan. 2nd, one of the coldest days in Bandon. After very little assembly, it was up and running. They said it was fabulous. My sister likened it to Rosie on the old space cartoon "The Jetsons." She said it is a little imposing-looking to begin with, but they have grown to love her..... especially that warmth she throws out! They love the remote and can't say enough about how fast and continually it heats up their living space. This was definitely a life saver for them. After hearing how much they love the unit, my mom has been hinting that she, too, might like one of those Rosie heaters! Thanks for the rapid delivery also."

"I love this heater. It is used to heat an entire room, and does it very easily and efficiently. The looks of it are even refreshing as it does not look like the normal gaudy appliance standing in the corner. I like the fact that it is easy to move around from room to room to help heat other areas also. And what else could you say about the remote except "awesome"."

Not Safe for Children,

"I was looking for a spaceheater for my infant sons bedroom because it gets chilly at night, but the rest of the house is too warm when we turn the thermostat up. I liked this product after reading reviews because customers said it was cool to the touch, and safe to use around kids. I received the heater today and was anxious to try it out. I assembled it, plugged it in, and turned it on. After the heater was on for less than 1 minute, I touched it to see how warm it was, and it burned my hand! I cannot imagine what damage or pain it could cause to a young child who accidentally touches it or gets too close to it. Because of this, I also don't feel it is safe against starting a fire if knocked over, as the product description and other customer reviews state.
I was very disappointed with the heater. It is a good quality heater, and works well to warm a room, but I don't think it is safe.
We may have gotten a defective heater, because I also noticed the front grill was dented - not sure if it is supposed to be like this. It could be part of the design, but I am not sure.
Regardless, we are returning it for a refund. If you have young kids, I would not waste my money."

"We bought this heater for our daughter's room and it's been great. It puts out a lot of heat with almost no noise. Since she's about 19 months and wakes up constantly, we've really enjoyed the ability to read the digital display and use the remote control from the hallway so we don't risk waking her up by trying to sneak in her room! I also like that it isn't on all the time - it'll just turn on when it needs to... that makes me much less nervous about overheating. We're so happy with it we bought another one for our other bedroom."

"I just wanted to say, my husband and I just bought a house and for whatever the reason, the heater will not work what so ever in my 2 year old daughters room. My husband showed up with this really nice heater. It works perfectly for her. Keeps her room nice and warm, and since she doesn't like to use a blanket, that is perfect! In fact, we are talking about getting one for every room in our house and turning off the heater. I would recomend this heater to anyone and everyone! I hope you all enjoy it as much as I do!"

"Bought 2 of these when they were on internet special. Use one upstairs while watching TV. Allows me to keep thermostat a few degrees lower and warms a good size room nicely. Other unit I have downstairs where it is usually much cooler (partially finished basement) Works nicely to raise the room temp to a comfortable temp in a matter or an hour or so."

"I purchased this heater for my bonus room above the garage. It is much cooler than the rest of the house and would never warm up. This unit heats up the room within 15 minutes and is perfect for a room that is not utlized every day. We can just fire it up when we are using the room and it warms up quickly. I recommend this product to all users."
